Akiha's Tea Room / [Sold] Selling Mahou Tsukai no Yoru LE Box
« on: March 30, 2013, 05:57:29 PM »
I am selling the Limited Edition DVD-Box of Mahou Tsukai no Yoru.

The box was opened once to inspect the contents, but was never actually used. The DVD was never run. I has been standing in my TM display shelf since the day it arrived. It would classify as "like new" (An item that looks as if it was just taken out of shrink wrap. No visible wear, and all facets of the item are flawless and intact.)

Contents:
  • Booklet, 101 pages, artworks, concept art and stuff
  • DVD-Case
  • PC DVD-ROM
  • Promo flyer with merchandise advertising

The price I want to achieve (and I will not go lower) is $150. I take care of the shipping cost and method. Sending worldwide.

Bonus stuff
By raising the price by $50 (total of $200) I will also add the following merchandise:
  • Fate/Apocrypha vol.1 TYPE-MOON ACE Edition
  • Fire Girl vol.1 TYPE-MOON ACE Edition
  • TYPE-MOON Calendar 2013-2014
  • T*MOON COMPLEX X03 by Crazy Clover Club
  • A picture drawn by me with a motive of your choice (reasonable) format DIN A4 (210 mm × 297 mm / 8.3 x 11.7 inches). Pencil and ink.
OR Digital Picture with a motive of your choice (reasonable), full color, any size.

Photos taken later this week, I'm very busy atm. Thanks in advance.

UNREAL BLACK THINGS / 1.05 - introducing ALL.NET P-Ras Multi
« on: March 16, 2013, 05:21:23 AM »
The new update does not alter the gameplay in the slightest bit but adds the player card/registration system ALL.NET P-Ras Multi which means we'll be likely to identify UNIB players from now on if the video quality is good. :toot:

Requirements: Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code v1.40, internet access

Optional: MSI Afterburner or Fraps to record gameplay and upload them to youtube for us all to see.

Rules:
Rotation tournament. When this tourney gets kicked off, I'll make a list of participants. You'll need to fight every participant at least once. The winner of the tournament will be whoever has teh most wins.

Individual battles will be standard damage, best of three

Each participant will pick 3 Characters, a 1st, second, and third. You need to tell me what characters (don't need to tell me the moons) are your first, second, and third. When the tournament starts, you cannot change your characters or their order.

You can start off with any character in a fight but you cannot go backwards. As in, if you start with your second, you can no longer use your first but you can still use your third.

Whoever loses their third first will be the loser of that battle.

Example:
Frantic vs Petrikow (just popped into my head, I'm not picking on you)
Frantic 1) Miyako 2)Riesbyfe 3)Arcueid
Petrikow 1)Satsuki 2) Kishima 3)Nanaya

Frantic starts with Miyako, Petrikow starts with Kishima
Miyako vs Kishima, Miyako wins

Petrikow now has to choose Nanaya since he started off with his second and can therefore no longer use his third.
Frantic can still pick any of his characters though since he started with his first and has not yet lost a character.

Frantic picks Riesbyfe, Petrikow with Nanaya
Petrikow wins

Frantic has to pick Arc now, Petrikow is still stuck with Nanaya.
Petrikow wins

since Frantic lost his third, Petrikow wins the entire match and now has +1 to his win record.

Make sense? Anyways, the reason I'm doing it like this is so that people who pick characters to counter their opponent's choices will be penalized.

Anyways, deadline is February 1st for signups, you must have your roster picked by the 7th. I'll have a list/matchups a few days after.

Melty Blood Auditorium / About CasterStats future
« on: August 19, 2011, 03:28:01 PM »
Everyone knows about the PC port. If there's a standalone version coming may be unclear but I was actually waiting for these news, so I dig up an old topic:

Netplay e-peen.

The old CasterStats (probably changing name) was a nice gimmick but that's all. When Act Cadenza was still played, the site was pretty active. When I made first steps to rework and improve the system, MBAA was released for PS2 and noone played MBAC via internet anymore and the site pretty much died and I lost motivation for this project.

Now motivation is back again and though the new site is pretty much stable (excluding stats lol) I wanted to ask what you'd imagine to be on the final site. Of course, stats. But aside from that. Think further.
The old site had some kinda ranking system but it sucked.
Now I'm thinking about a score-like-system. You don't only get points from playing games. The more you win, the more the points. Additionally, an achievement system could be pretty cool, as well and might be both informational and funny.

I thought about the usual web2.0 stuff. Every site has a social feature so why not this? Find ppl from your country. Chat on the site while playing etc.

Player rating could be somthing like, after you played someone, you are able to rate his playstyle. This is splitted into several points. e.g. there could be attributes like "Skill", "Speed", "Offense", "Defense", "Style" etc. Those are samples.
This might allow to categorize players by their attributes. also another kinda ranking as well. Of course, playing someone once won't allow this. You have to play a few games before being able to rate players.

Regarding the program (if one is going to be made). It is possible to have a matchmaking feature. Have the program arrange your matches. No more copypasta your IP anymore, the site would take off the work from you. Just click "Challenge" on one of the ppl who are online and wait for his Accept - then the game starts. It could be also possible to enable group chat like IRC. These could be channel seperated as well.

I had an idea about organizing tournaments, be they on- or offline. A simple user interface to easily update and change tournaments and create brackets.

Those are some basic ideas. If you have suggestions, please post them.

And please no trolls. I know this is MBread, but just keep it down. Thanks.

Melty Blood Auditorium / The MB:AA:CC:PC thread: v.1.4 out
« on: August 11, 2011, 03:36:53 PM »
v1.4: http://meltyblood.info/?p=735

Keep the complaining about it to a minimum, thanks.

You can speculate all you want, but this has no bearing on the game coming out or not coming out on other platforms. The arcade version runs off of Windows XP Embedded -- it's about as easy of a port as you can get (*still not trivial).

I still think a PS3/PSP/Vita release is coming

As seen on TVtypemoon.com:

For those of you wondering if mauve would do an implementation of Caster for the PC version of MBCC:

Quote
[02:37] <@mauve> i want to say this to head off any caster comments. i actually want to work on the netplay for mbaacc if it hits pc. maybe enough to do a rollification.
[02:37] <Tempered> THAT IS NOT MAUVE
[02:37] <Dipstick> mauve, you're going to be held to that
[02:37] <T3U> Don't say things like that.
[02:37] <@mauve> yes well provided my life implodes horribly, which i am not ruling out, that may be on the plate

i meant to say 'doesn't implode', but i suppose that works too, huh?

So there you go.

sup. My infinite creativity and greediness for money had an idea to make shirts that you guys can buy.
You'll find Tsukihime related products there, but there's other stuff, too.

A word to pricing:
I try to keep the price of 17,90$ for shirts. This is pretty cheap imo. I earn $1 each shirt, except for the Hisui Doujin one, which is commission free.

So yeah.

Or maybe just Take Moon.

But then it's still awesome because a 4koma anime featuring Melty characters by ufotable would be...

Dear Takeuchi-sama,

I noticed several times now that your skill improved drastically in the past years. Not only have you managed to perfect your style, you also are meanwhile able to concept badass and epic images featuring your work with Kinoko-sama. Please continue with it.

I have one wish though.

NEXT TIME YOU VISIT GERMANY YOU BETTER SAY SOMETHING AND DON'T LET ME KNOW BY THE GUY WHO CARRIES THE PACKAGING. RAAAAH.

Since I'm low in time for a detailed thread opener now, I'm making it short.

The National Novel Writing Month is a writing contest that starts on November 1st and ends on November 30rd. Every participant starts writing a novel on Nov 1st and tries to reach at least 50,000 words by the end of November. If he succeeds, he aquired the goal of writing a novel in one month.

There are no prizes involved or anything. It's a mere just-for-fun contest, though people have reached in their scripts to publishers and are now authors of a book that can be bought.

Most of the infos and rules are stated on that page. Important is, that you don't start writing before the start date. And don't be picky about what you wrote. Just write. In order to reach 50,000 words, at least 81 pages are the minimum (Tried out with Lorem Ipsum). When the month ends, you count your written words and then run your text through the online validator. If your and its match are the same, you are stated as a winner.

I take this chance to actually write something which I didn't do for months now. I'm not trying to reach the 50,000 but I'm trying to finish the story. And it's highly inspired by Nasu's stuff, of course. I hope I finish it, though I basically lack time.

Akiha's Tea Room / HELP ME SPEAK JAPANESE PLZ
« on: October 04, 2010, 11:29:57 AM »
:psyduck:

No really. I need some things for work and I don't have the time to put all this grammar together and fuck it up like I usually do. And because some people in here can speak it, I would like to ask for help regarding some phrases.

I know the vocabulary already, but putting them together into a sentence and having a correct grammar is the problem.
Vocabulary:

tamago
Egg

揚げ卵
age tamago
Fried egg

スクランブルエッグ
sukuranburueggu
Scrambled egg

オムレツ
omuretsu
Omelette

お楽しみお食事
o tanoshimi o shokuji
Bon appetit

リーク
ri^ku
Porree

キノコ
kinoko
Mushrooms

チーズ
chi^zu
Cheese

エビ
ebi
Shrimps

ハム
hamu
Ham

Now what I need to know is if you want to say:

"What can I do for you?"
"We have fried eggs, scrambled eggs and omelette. You can choose between those ingredients: (list with "to")."
"Anything else?"
"You're welcome." (after they thank you)
"I'll be right there for you."
"Do you want your fried egg over easy (flipped) or sunny side up?"
"2 minutes, please." (Also, 3 minutes, 4 minutes and 5 minutes)
"Right now!"
"No problem."

 :blah:

Thanks =<
