Yeah I like using Souichiro/Seiba myself, For that Melee RUSH, as much as I like to attempt using Avalon for an Epic Counter with Shirou/Seiba, this works more for me, just Avalon Powered Seiba is fine.. oh btw, if anyone's interested, you can add input to characters you play off on the Crucis site thats building at its own pace I guess ---> http://z13.invisionfree.com/Community_Crucis/index.php?s=257fb1e1d89c3087899eefbef9c5a949&act=idx

Yeah this game isn't exactly combo heavy like Fate U/C, and by the way, new patch came out for it, fixed nearly all of the bugs and infinites, save for Rider's throw bug, which it looks like they tried to fix but still a little off, but maybe by next patch it'll be fixed up, but at least we know they're keeps their ears open for any problems. Netplay is better as well, considering how t was in 1.01, would drop like nobody's business but it seems that they fixed that at the expense of lag, but I'd rather play my match in somewhat decently playable lag then drop out during one.

I played some more Kouma C myself today, and saw that at the end of his rekka, the 4th hit, is like his 623 for F Kouma, where he holds you up and this one tosses the opponent, where they can tech out, though I'm not sure if you can go into OTG after that but its another grab at the end of the rekka, soo its like 236A 236B 236C 236C. Still gotta figure out how F-Kouma's 22A B changes, because there the regular version thats like 22a and then another version thats 22B and then one that sets up a fake dash. Also in C-Kouma he has the 3 different kicks, 623A for the one where he stays on the ground, 623B is where he goes up in the air like MBAC Kouma's 623A and then 623C is like MBAC Kouma's 623B. Hmm wonder if 623A would still hit low if youre close enough....

Fully Released as of October 24th, the sequel to what most people know as Fatal Fake; Crucis brings players a new tag team system. The cast of characters include Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Berserker, Rider, Assassin, and True Assassin who is unlockable at the end of the game's arcade mode. The list of masters include Kirei, Shirou, Sakura, Illya, Rin, and Souichiro. Also notable is that Bazette, Dark Sakura, Avenger, and Dark Saber can be playable with a certain game save file. Now the idea is to basically snuff out the enemy master. Both master and servant work as a team in order to do this, and while one plays as a servant, you can call upon the master for support with an assist attack, which of course is different for each master. When in control of a master, you're more vulnerable and risk losing the match, however, if dealt any damage prior to switching, the servant will gain some of its health back and the meter will increase gradually as long as you are under the control of a master. The health regen effect also works vice versa when in control of a servant. Some attacks can hit both master and servant even if a servant is under your control, but thats where command seals come in. There are 3 command spells at your disposal where as you can use it to call out your servant to get out of combos and the like and also vice versa when playing as a master. With a command seal and at least one meter, you can powerup your servant for a certain amount of time and you can either continue attacking with your heightened attack power, or if you have enough meter leftover , usually 2 or 3, you can pull out their Noble Phantasm to deal a devastating blow to your opponent. Thats about as far as game mechanics go. Netplay can be a little laggy at the start but the only reason this game is so laggy is because it demands a perfect sync.  It looks for dropped frames, which causes lag.  If it can’t find the dropped frame it disconnects. Though once it kicks in netplay is pretty golden. Regardless, this has already been made aware to the developers and they are in the process of making a patch to alleviate the problem.
A community....no, a BRIGADE is building and were gathering recruits board by board to bring a netplay scene to this game! We've done some replays, found some bugs, we got contact with the developers for these bugs, guides, and some netplay troubleshooting! We're hella serious about this netplay and want people to join in! You can come to #Crucis off of Rizon on IRC and bring  HYPE in your fists and your game face to the battlefield! Hmph, I'll be waiting........mongrels.......

ermmm was at CF today and yesterday playing MBAA, the 3rd hit on Kouma's rekka hits low though yeah you can choose whether to end it normally with that 236 A/B overhead or not or at the end pull out 236c and hit low. I guess thats kinda making it up for the fact that theres no rebeats, you can continue something from there, but imo I think F-Kouma is mostly for people who wanna stagger in their blockstrings, though I cant say much, still gotta get used to playing stick here lol, also im thinking that crescent is gunna be mostly people who are hungry for that offense and Full is pretty much defensive seeing how theres no rebeats so you cant really go back in for a blockstring and pressure, soo its definately something different in store for Kouma people, but till I can get 623 down on stick I wont be ready for F-Kouma just yet.

Yeah props to everybody at BBG8 shit was soo much fun, every damn minute of it, a good way of sending a farewell to MBAC and get ready for something new.

Ashita's got a lot of pretty neat stuff.  She has 66 extensions off of 8b, 2b, and [7b].  Her [1b] is a grab and her 3b is a counter.  It's pretty cool.  The 2b 66 is great for making the opponent back off for a minute, and the [7b] 66 is good for mind games since you can easily throw out the 66 extension at any part of the charge or not at all.  Her [1b] grab is ridiculous, since it can easily combo into itself.  lol

Does anyone actually find her 2ab to be useful though?  It seems kind of...crappy. (though the godliness of her 4b makes up for it I guess)
Well actually if you hold B when you do 2AB the fiery Ashita clones stay in the air and you can drop it when you let go of the button sooo I guess do some A moves and just make em walk in the falling area

Good god guys, I found out ways to combo into backstub+heartbreak for around 3300 damage with Minami already.  At full health, you can only take 3500 damage before you are axed.  I'll post up combo replays of these new heartbreaking combos when I get a chance to record them.  I don't think it's long before I find an instant kill combo with her though.

Oh, btw, I figure at some point starting up a wiki would be beneficial.  I've already started up a combos doc, but I've only really been experimenting seriously with Minami, Yukie, and Negai.  I'd need input from other players to help with the rest of the cast, most likely.

Oh whoops I got one of the names mixed up from not playing in a while.  I don't play Madoi, but I play Minami like you.  I dunno how many people you've played but whenever I high parry an attack, my parry gets... counter parried?  And I end up eating another combo.  Other than that I like her a lot more than the rest of the cast.  Her damage output is stupid. If you land a hit and they don't burst out, you have already almost ended the match.  Not too mention it's pretty easy to hit confirm since she only has a good few pokes, but each of them have massive hitstun.
My best guess on the parry getting parried is that you parried an A attack, which is quick enough to give them reaction time against Minami's slow-to-hit parries.  Either that or clash frames, since some moves have them.  =<

I'm mostly Kanae or Ashita, Kanae has those wall combos that do some awesome damage, but now with the new patch the juggling is harder, and Ashita can sometimes loop with her 9b into like j.c then 9b again, though yeah its fun because of how simple it is and that fact that one person on the losing end can turn the chessboard around to win, soo defense is one of the most important things when playing
Kamina!  Nice to see you post in here.  How's that combo video coming along?  I'm pretty sure I'll have shit to add in to it for my 3 girls, if you're interested in having outside input.
Hmmm well things are going slowly I guess, getting sidetracked with other stuff, just today I was working on some more Ashita stuff I didnt know about like using her 7B and then while holding B press 66 to throw her fastball, though I hope they fix replays during netplay as well, random standing and all, and any outside input is appreciated, sometimes I just get lazy lol

Damn, this is gunna be sooo crazy, Kouma's gunna be the Rebound King when he pulls off those anti air grabs, I'm lovin how he just drags em through the ground on the Ex, hmmm Full Moon style or Crescent? How about both? I guess the styles are gunna affect matchups, just hope it isnt a HUGE gap in advantages and disadvantages..

Well I dunno if this is anything useful, but for an Aoko who sets up orbs in the cornering and trying to hit you with a laser, what you can do is if youre a little far away, Kouma's dash can avoid it, though the dash is kinda short at that distance, so 22B can be used, its a kinda long dash that can get you close plus super armor never hurt anyone, and with that orb defense on the ground, you can use 22A or maybe 22C if you want to take out the orb and maybe if your lucky, youll get that counter hit and either go for a loop or an air throw depending on the situation....

Question about the JAP Rekka BNB...... errmm so far, I can do it on Sacchin and Warachia with some ok timing, but when it comes to anyone else, its totally different and I cant connect with that second rekka, so then if thats the case, then I guess it only works with some characters considering the strict and very unforgiving timing.. lol I was practicing this for like 3 days straight but now I think I got the hang of it a lil, but anyway, how many characters do you think you can connect with this BNB??

Well I wasnt exactly asking why it was shorter, but rather if its useful for his mixup, at that distance, its a pretty quick reaction for you and your opponent, but it could all be in your favor, its sounds like some big pressure in the corner too, being that close after whiffing from 5C 5B, its like Indiana Jones with the boulder coming for you and you gotta make that quick decision to eat it or run, it wont be too troublesome dashing in because of clash frames, it kinda sets in some sort of safety before getting on the inside and flaming all over your opponent....quick guessing but it might be worth it

S-blade sama, I dunno if this is really helpful or not, but in training mode, I was working on a combo while the opponent's on block and lets say in a situation I do 2a 5c and then 5b and then whiff it with 5a, I notice that theres a shorter dash in distance and also I think I can still reach the opponent with one 2a poke while my opponent's 2a poke is off by at least a frame or two, with the exception of long pokes like Nero and his freaking Jumanji snakes.. and also.. I think if ya time the dash right, if a poke does come your way, I think Kouma's clash frames come up, because theyre at the beginning of the dash and being at that distance...... but anyway, I was wondering if this was effective or not.... oh and btw lol I dont think Kouma's much of a Ninja with a Superarmor jutsu, more of a B ball MVP whos about to kick it into overtime lol, Kishima Kouma, Basketman!!! DUNK!!

Great work S-Blade sama, 22C can be a great asset when youre under heavy fire, it could easily put your opponent on the defensive and 3-4 seconds might just mean the whole match with all the damage Kouma dishes out.

Its not that hard, think of it as fishing, as soon as you get the snag from a shield then do the 214 A motion and you got yourself a big fish, then if you're near the wall, then wallslam and combo from there.
