Everyone was looking good. Glad to see more F-Ryogis. : )

Kamina and Nightroad congrats on making it up so far. Keep on repping!

NC state keep up the great job as well. I missed the matches, but I'll probably watch them again later.

"First Lucky's of the New Year!

We're going to switch some things around for 2010. T6/SF4/BB will run FIRST. All of you new guys who are mainly interested in one of those three won't have to wait around anymore! Everything else will run after.

Rationale: hopefully fix the issue with people having to leave and ending sorrrrt of late, give the newer players more of a chance to learn, watch, participate in some high level play in 3rd, GG, etc, out-of-state players won't have to be concerned with playing big games late then driving home, and we'll all still have the opportunity to rock some old shit.

Going along with everything above, we'll also do a poll for a tournament (or teams) in some other game (and continue for future tourneys if all goes well).

Well since nothing is 100% yet. I can throw some ideas. I like the idea of commentary and building up the community.  By discussion and etc. But, I think it would be good as well. If you could save or archive the videos in ustream. Because of different time and just life issues. I guess each discussion could be broken up into episodes. I would be interested to see a look into zone, aggressive, turtle, match ups, or anything else  from other people's point of view. But, I guess that's just really basic stuff. Other than that I like watching matches and you guys got some good quality streaming already. (Mountain Dew Ciel vs Santa get on that camera.)

Do you have a Dustloop account? The lot of us generally discuss meetups and talk there, in the "New North Carolina thread" in the match finder forum. We don't play GG or BB as much as we play Melty atm, thing is so few of us read/check Bread.

Sorry to hear about the cash, but you could possibly catch a ride. Most people do that, the car I'm travelling in will have four guys or so. If said Durham Kouma player is willing, I don't see why you couldn't tag along. There's no fee to play casually at the tournament. So long as you have enough for maybe a little gas and something to eat, you'd be fine. It is certainly an all-day affair, though.

Yeah, nice to meet you. My name is Brent. I'm purify or purifyweirdsoul elsewhere.

Sorry for the really late post Brent. But, yeah I have a dustloop account. I'll try to see if I can make it to the next big thing that comes around.  I post there in the thread now. Are you the one with the Valkriya avatar?

I'm in Raleigh. Most of the Melty players are around this area. One guy that plays F. Kouma lives on Fayetteville road in Durham, there's a few players at NC State in Raleigh, me and Jon also in Raleigh, Brandino in Goldsboro (when he's not temporarily based elsewhere) and Matt/James are in Greenville. We get together and play fairly often.

THIS WEEKEND is a tournament in Greensboro which several of us are travelling to. If you want to go, it'll start around 12 and run up to around 11 or so, but you can leave whenever. Thread for info and everything else:

It's nice to meet you PWS. So far I'm kinda dead on cash. So I hope that I can meet up with you guys and just play friendlies or something. I'll try to look up this Kouma guy. Thanks for your help man. I hope you don't mind chatting on MSN or something.

This sounds like some fun actually. I really wish this game could become more main stream popular though. At least there is a scene going on. Maybe we all could get together or met at NEC hopefully. I'm in Durham, NC on a off note. Just in case there is someone else near by.:D

Is this community still alive? I would like to join if it is. (Maybe I read wrong or can't find the server or channel on Efnet)
