[01/09/10] Smithtown Play N Trade SF4/T6/3S/SF2HDR/UMK3
Hey everyone. I'm back with the first NY tournament of 2010!!! I want this one to be even bigger than the past ones I've run. So I'm going to raise the tournament entry from the usual $5 to $10 to fill out the pot a bit. I'm also mulling around some ideas for side tourneys that I think you guys might find fun.

Date -
January 9th 2010

Time -
Casuals start 2:00
Registration starts at 2:30
Matches start at 3:00-3:30

For those of you taking the train from Penn station use the Port Jeff line and get off at the Smithtown station.

The tournaments run will be :

- Street Fighter 4 - Xbox360
- Tekken 6 - PS3
- HDR - Xbox 360
- SF3s - PS2
- UMK3 - MAME (Sticks and such are provided)
-MBAA- JPS2 (crt tv)

House Fee : $10
Tournamet Entry : $10

The prize pots will be split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
70%/20%/10%

Also for SF4 if more than 20 people sign up then my boss said he will put an extra $25 into the pot and if 30 people show up he will put another $25 into the pot for a total of $50 extra dollars. From that point on for every 10 more people he will add in another $25 into the pot. So the more people that show up the bigger the pot bonus will be!

Tekken 6 -
- All characters allowed

- Finals will be best 4/7 and 3/5 matches
- Double elimination

SF3 Third Strike -

- Gill is banned
- Rounds are best 2/3 rounds and matches are best 2/3.
- Finals will be best 2/3 rounds and 3/5 matches.
- Double Elimination


HDR Rules-

- Akuma is banned
- Double elimination
- Rounds are best 2/3 rounds and matches are best 2/3.
- Finals will be best 3/5 rounds and 2/3 matches.

-UMK3
-Most likely will be run on MAME
-Double Elim
-All Characters
-2/3 to winners and losers finals
-3/5 winners/losers finals
-4/7 grand finals

Tekken 6 and HDR will be run on the store's LCD TV's, SF4 and SF3 will be run on CRT televisions.

Also if anyone is willing to bring their PS3 to this we would greatly appreciate it! The store only has one PS3 to use so we would need a few more for Tekken 6. Also if anyone is willing to bring anything else to help out from Systems to games to CRT televisions it would be greatly appreciated!

Winner is allowed to switch Moon Phase (Crescent,Half,Full).

The matches will be run on the store's LCD HDTV's and depending on the number of expected entrants may be run downstairs where we have much much more open room for play. We have 8 LCD HDTV's set up downstairs as well so either way will work out the same.

Also if anyone is willing to bring their PS3 to this we would greatly apprecate it! The store only has one PS3 to use so we would need a few more for BB and SF4.

Zar -yeah i dont play Akatsuki although i want to play.it was my unveiling of a character i played i think once. i was talking about Nas's comp that the usb poll rates weren't tweaked which caused my converter to lag any inputs..and immposible to do a 22b.. but i also think Fox's comp was the same but i switched to using a pelican converter i saw layin a round.  dont worry next bbg the Wei gloves are off my Akatsuki will be unstoppable mwahaha *jumps in on wei... nope dead* >_<

everyone- it was great seeing you all its been to long lets keep these hobo tourns running strong more.vulgar,more anime combos, more boos,More Kanae vagina Slams!!!!!
