Covering all moons (eventually). Stuff Like negekon and all that are on the wiki.

CRESCENT-WARC COMBOS
Regular BnBs
2A>5B>2B>2C>5C>Aerial
Basic starter, pretty much from MBAC

2A>5B>2B>2C>5A>5C>Aerial
Neko ground BnB starter

5B>5C>6C>2B>2C>Aerial[/u]
MAX Damage starter, great for punishing.

5B>2B>2C>6[C]>5C>Aerial[/u]
Easy, high damage hitconfirm.

Aerials:
JB(2)JC>(jc)>JB(2)JC>J2C/Airthrow/Airdash j214C
Basic aerial combo.

JAJBJC>(jc)>JAJBJC>J2C/Airthrow
Alternate aerial, use if they are lower.

JCJB>(dc)>JB(1)>(hjc)>JAJBJC>J2C/Airthrow
Nin combo from MBAC. Alternately you can cancel jB(1) into j214A>j214C (Since you already used your airdash cancel).

JCB>(dc)>JC>(hjc)>JABC>J2C/Airthrow
Alternate version of Nin combo from MBAC.

JA>(dc)JB(1)JC>Land, Hjc8>JCB(1)>hjc>JBC>J2C/Airthrow>Airdash j214C
Relaunch combo AKA shin-nin combo.

JB(1)>(dc)>JB(1)JC>Land, Hjc8>JB(1)C>hjc>JBC>J2C/Airthrow
Alternate Shin-nin combo, do this off 5B>6C>5C>2B>2C for max damage.
623C Wallslam possibilities
2A>2C>5C – Close to the wall
2A > 5B – Close to the wall, easy.
5B>2C>5C - One to two character widths away.
5B>5C - One to two character widths away.
5B > 2C > 6[C] > 5C - One to two character widths away
Dash 2B>6[C] > 5C – Three Character widths away
Dash 5C > 2C > 6[C] – Three Character widths away
HAKKEN (624C)> dash aerial – More than midscreen away
TK shinso beam > B shinso beam – Full screen
Aerial CH Followups
JB(1)>airdash JB(2)>dj>JBC>J2C/Airthrow
Easy confirm.
JB(1) > airdash JA(whiff). . .
5B>5C>Aerial
5B>2C>5C>Aerial
2C>6[C]>5C>Aerial
2B>6[C]>5C>Aerial – Target combo. This works even in places where 5B would miss.

Off of really high j214A/B counterhits
3C>2A>2C>5C>Aerial – 2A is not needed though. Also keep in mind that you can do all of the above confirms off these moves as well
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: BurstOfAnger November 20, 2009, 02:31:12 AM
On VSion:

2a5b6c5c2b2c jbc djbc airthrow does 4684

2a5b6c2b2c5c jbc djbc airthrow does 4706

But omit the 2a, the first combo does more than the second. So as a normal BnB, 5b6c2b2c5c starter is better because the timing is easier and it does more damage off a 2a hitconfirm. For a punish combo, 5b6c5c2b2c is better.
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: Lord Knight November 21, 2009, 08:59:26 PM
There's no reason to go into that when you can confirm into 5B 2B 2C 6[C] 5C, that'll do at least 5.5 on VSion. So for punishing, 5B 6C 5C 2B 2C > Aerial is optimal (if you can hitconfirm, great but you need pointblank 5B), however 5B 2B 2C 6[C] 5C is a reliable hitconfirm that's high damaging and gives good oki.

Raw 5B is Warc's max damage, you do more starting with that than with JB jump in.
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: MissedFRC November 26, 2009, 09:28:09 AM
After 3C you should be doing 5B, not 2A. Unless you just listed that for being too close, but from my experience you're almost always able to hit with 5B.

You can also do stuff like 5B 5C 6C 63214C 3C 5B 2C 6C (don't charge this, it'll do a 3rd wallbound) shin-nin ender.

On air counter-hits, if you have meter and land 3C, you can tack on another by doing 5B 63214C 3C but it takes a bit of precision when you catch them with 5B again.
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: Lord Knight November 26, 2009, 11:32:47 PM
I said you could do all the above confirms as well. This means you could do high j214A/B land 3C 2C 6[C] 5C blah blah blah or whatever.

you just didn't list any 3C combos in the first post so I thought it was worth a mention  :slowpoke:

3C combos are done now, charge 6[C] combos are too good.

Tiny nitpick, 5B 5C 6C does more damage/prorates less than 5B 6C 5C.

Whooooops

Worst part is that I use 5B 5C 6C, not 5B 6C 5C. :slowpoke:

: MissedFRC February 02, 2010, 06:15:26 PM
You can't burst out of 623C -> combo lol :slowpoke: Only know this for H-moons, haven't tested on others.

623C -> 2C BE6C does too much damage :slowpoke:

If you do the crossup 214C air ender and OTG with 2C 5C 623C, you can get an air ender by doing 2C 236A, but it's only a tad troublesome. Should probably just take the tech punish oppurtunity since you only really look like a hype badass doing this.  :slowpoke:

if you get thrown. You can burst until you recover period. This goes the same for stuff that "grabs" like sions 214 whips and warcs telegrabs.

A lot of the trouble with half moon warc is that for her to really have anything over crescent warc, you need to start doing her crazy tk shinso beam combos and those are by no means easy combos.  Possible, but difficult.

I'm starting to try to learn Full Warc as my alt of the week (F-Sion is still the main!).  Her pressure is actually harder to do than I thought, you really have to be point blank to get into 236A.  Odd.

her 623 move is actually very useful for wake ups.  this also goes by that you can air combo after doing that move.  Also she gives so much damage also well.  But yes F-Warc is kinda hard when it comes to her pressure.

And lastly the only sad thing about H-Warc is that she doesn't have her aerial teleport move.  But overall, she's really good and I would play C and H all day.

I picked up AA a few months back and I used to play Red Arc as one of my mains back in ReAct; I busted her out at a tourney meet we had a week or so back and I started playing her again.

I like her new toolset gained in AA, like the very useful (but expensive!) Fouatsait Eit Shul, the air dashes and I'm looking forward to learning her advanced stuff. I haven't seen too much of H and F but really I can't imagine playing my Arc without reverse beat and similar to her AC and ReAct (as well as being a C-moon whore) so I'll stick with C. Here's a casual I recorded today:

Looking forward to tips and criticism.

Not bad honestly. You've got most basics down, but your BnB is a little short of complete. Why omit the second hit of jb? If you're afraid of messing it up due to the timing, practise more and you'll get it.

Also, use 5b more. It's one of Warc's core moves, vital in pressure and combos due to it's forward momentum. Since you've got most basics down, just watch videos of better players, especially the japanese. See what they do, understand why they do it and try to emulate it. It'll make you better understand the game and your character.
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: MissedFRC March 07, 2010, 04:00:17 AM
You need to work on your hit-confirm. I saw a lot of damage and oppurtunities missed from not confirming an aerial CH, landing a hit but cancelling into 214x, or just missing the j.2C knockdown. It's important to have strong hit-confirm!

Try to mix-up your throws other than running up and trying.

I'll also agree that you should work 5B into your ground game more, along with 6C! Hope to see good improvements from you, seems like you're very capable :)
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: Tech Romancer March 08, 2010, 12:07:56 AM
Thanks a lot for the responses guys, I've def heard about the pressure game with 5C and been wondering about 6C, I'll work on it. As for the two hitting j.B, I just need to practice; like Akiha j.B, I mess it up more often than not so I let it hit once out of fear of messing up. Now with the C-moon damage nerf from AC, there's no getting past it anymore and I need to get it down; off to practice mode.

: Tech Romancer March 08, 2010, 12:21:24 AM
Oh? No nerf for Warc? I thought that all C-moon had lost some damage compared to AC. Guess not, which is good.

If you look at the top of the thread you can see the crazy amounts of damage Warc is capable of now.

This my cover for H-Warc, first time doing this.  So be easy on me  ;D.

Normals
(Assuming that you know about C-Warc.)
Basically her standing normals and ground normals are pretty much the same as C.  Except you don't have 6C which is pretty unfortunate, but still manageable.

5A 6AA: A starter for a combo and your main usage bnb's.

Specials
623A/B/C: Her teleport now has a beam around her which is used as an attack.  After you input 236, you right away input 8 or 9 to do an aerial.
236A/B/C: Now used as projectile.  Useful when it comes to spacing.  Also can be cancel into 22C.
214A/B/C: Same as MBAC
22A/B/C: Now you can use this on the ground.  Very nice for oki's and wake-ups.  22A can cancel into  22C, 214C or 63214C.  Will be more discussed later on.
63214C: Unlike her big ring that she throws at her opponent, her disappears and grabs you in which she slams you in the corner!
j.214A/B/C: Same as MBAC
j.22A/B/C : Same as MBAC
Arc Drive: Same
NO J.623 WTF??

BnB's
5B 5C 5A 6AA 2C aerial
Basic BnB

5B 5C 5A 6AA 623A/B(input 8 right away) aerial
Show some tricks yo!

5B 5C 5A 6AA 214C aerial
Requires some meter, but very damageable when used.
22A can be added before 214C, but its harder to confirm
a hit for aerial and less damageable.

5B 5C 5A 6AA 22C aerial
Requires meter as well. If you think your opponent
is too far from reach, then use this.  You can add
22A before 22C, but gives out less damage.

5B 5C 5A 6AA 22A 63214C aerial
Not used for midscreen, corner only.

5B 5C 5A 6AA 236B 22C aerial
Requires meter.  To me 236B works out more
then 236A for both midscreen and corners.  It
is hard to confirm a hit off of 236A only because
the move comes out too fast.

Aerials
Aerials are posted on mbaa.mizuumi.net/index.php.Red_Arcrueid (http://mbaa.mizuumi.net/index.php.Red_Arcrueid).  Concept for those aerials for C-Moon is
the same as H-Moon.

Blockstings and Oki will be explained later once after I get of work today.  This will be finished and hopefully I'll give some stuff about this moon mode for her.  Offically now main as C and H Warc.  Dang, I should of tried her out first before any other characters *shakes head no*.  Oh well, she's WARCLiKE and have a lot fun playing as her.  Let me know if there is anything that should added in, thanks.

Oh sorry bout that. I meant Hjc8> jb(1) part whiffs. I even do Hjc8>jc but it still whiffs. Should I mash harder? or are there inputs that I need to delay (If so, I suspect it would be the jb(1) dash jb(1) jc part, the delay being jb(1) xx jc.)
: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: MissedFRC May 28, 2010, 06:02:54 PM
That combo is listed wrong.

The relaunch combo is j.a/j.b(1) ad.b(1) j.C land neutral sj j.C j.b(1) hjc9 j.B j.C Ender

Try to delay the first j.b j.c as long as possible, also try to delay your j.B AFTER hjc9 so you can rise higher to the opponent so j.2C is possible to connect.

: Re: Warc Combos and Tactics (MBAA)
: MissedFRC August 26, 2010, 02:43:21 PM
You can do j.C sdj.BC off of 2C.

(2A) 5B 2B delay as long as possible 2C 236A 236A j.C j.BC ender

Doing this you can do a slightly stronger BE5B combo by delaying 2C for as long as you can into double 236A j.C. The increase is negligible though and you get less meter.

BE5B 2B 5C 236A 236A j.C dj.BC j.2C - 4113, 100.6% on V.Sion

BE5B...2C 236A 236A j.C dj.BC j.2C - 4203, 95.2%

Comboing off of 236C is impossible.

My lazy ass video for C-Warc. Shows off combos and a couple basic things, new players should watch if you want visual confirmations on combos.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yus17fknwA

Bonus:

On certain characters you can OTG with 5B, which gives you a slightly higher damage OTG string and an easier time reacting to no-techs after throw.

Characters who get hit OTG by 5B after throw:
Nanaya
Kouma
Arcueid
Red Arcueid
Nero
Kohaku
Maids (w/Kohaku leading)
Roa

Your OTG on these characters should be 5B 2B 2C 5C 5Ax2
