My Akiha's blockstrings have improved, I guess. I think it'll be pretty tight in two weeks. I'm really digging her 22x properties.

Some quick advice.
-Reduce damage you're taking by tapping to the rhythm of the combo. Do it right, you will stay alive... I'd say 20% longer.
-For OTG strings, my general rule is 4 A's to other normals.
-If you're finding your opponent likes to jump out in the corner, try Run up 5A.
-If you're trying to build blockstrings, Try not using 2/5C and use A & B only... and not jumping and airdashing in.

As far as I know, not really. There's no reason why you shouldn't be using it, unless you don't mind taking damage. Be mindful of Resets though.

In my experience, I find it helps me keep focused on the match when i am getting bodied by some big combo, as opposed to getting hit, hanging my head and saying to myself "aww crap, there goes my life". Every little bit of health helps.

I really only jumped a lot with Arcueid cause of TK rings, I spend a lot more time on the ground with Akiha. Also, 4C isn't that bad, but the other "C"s look too risky for pressure.

I underestimated reduce damage... I set the training mode dummy to reduce all and my corner BnB did a measly 3.8k as opposed to 5.5k. $:-\$

I think you're supposed to match the timming of your opponents attacks, so as long as they don't know your attack's timing they'll prolly just shave off a couple hundred instead.

Yeah - old workaholic habits die hard, unfortunately. I'm interested in getting transferred back down to LA, but it'll at least be a few more months before I'll have any opportunity to bring it up. In the meantime, I'm just going to have to figure out when it would make sense to take a vacation and head back down there...
