I figured you guys would be on the 24/7 P4A grind with Evo coming up and all.
I'm not grinding shit! I'll be too busy running stuff during the tournament.

dippy/tempered: Are you guys available this weekend. If so, I'd like to play some MB, but I'd also like to set aside some time for T5DR and/or T6 because of what I missed yesterday. God I hate you guys. >:( I was not going to play either of those games with their amazing netcode either.
I'll be head all weekend, like a sadlife. You really want to bust out Tekken 6... 6.0? ???

Well I know you aren't grinding anything for obvious reasons, I'm just too lazy to point out specifically who isn't part of the grinding because it's implied considering how small our circle is.

6.0? Yeah sure, we're really going to play a game that never had a home release. :-\

Let's get logistics going; what time are you planning on heading out on Thursday?  Also, are you planning on a clusterfuck in the room again?

I want to leave around 8-9 AM or so (right into rush hour traffic, fuck yes!). The room should not be a clusterfuck, but it might be a little cramped as we have 6 people. However, I can just throw Mizuki in the closet so it shouldn't be too bad.

Ryd, PM me your number and address, I'm not sure if what I have is correct.

Have fun...

...

you fools.

:nyoro:

The next few days I'll be collecting green paper with dead white guys on it.

Also, how about Nintendo? Just yesterday they made that announcement that they prohibited Evo from streaming Melee only to reverse the decision a few hours later. Nintendo clearly has no concept of player relations beyond two people on a couch.

I think leaving at 9 makes more sense; you leave a whole hour later, but only really lose around 20 minutes.

Also, Dippy, what are the odds of you letting me borrow your Pelican adapter?  I can do without if need be, but not having a PS button can complicate things sometimes.

Watch, I'm going to throw down some dumb bet and walk out of there with TEH BIG BUCKS!!! or more likely just lose it all; fuck gambling.

From what I heard (and given how quickly they flipped their position), Evo did get permission from Nintendo to run the event, but their legal team wasn't aware of that and sent out the C&D because that's what legal departments do. It turns out that their initial request was to scratch the entire tournament! What the fuck? If we got that kind of reaction for MBAA at Evo in 2010, I would have shut down the site in protest.

I'm up for any excuse that lets me sleep later. :V

I should be free this Sat.  Since H-F hasn't heard the full news: I picked up BB EX and have been pushing buttons in it.  Partially because I can, and partially because CP looks like it might be kinda fun (and less blatantly bullshit than UNIB), and I want to get a better feel for it.  Currently playing Relius, but he's turning out to be easy/silly, so I'll probably go back to Litchi and/or Rachel and keep Relius on the side since both of them actually take some work.  Also, Deadpool game this weekend if you guys can actually stay awake for it.

I see. Can't really say I truly have an interest in learning BB at this juncture though.

I won't be available this weekend so the Deadpool game may have to wait until next weekend. :-\

If you're going to try getting DL people over, you should probably like...post about it.  Or I can, but it doesn't seem right for me to invite a bunch of people to someone else's place without clearing it first.

Dippy how good would you say is the Aver Media LGP? I was thinking of recording HD footage soon. My main concern is if it'll work with my current setup because it's just my console plugged into my monitor via HDMI.

Hmm.  After tonight, I kinda want to give C-W.Len another spin.  Or Ciel of some sort (H-F would've booted me off the setup if he saw me pushing buttons with C earlier  :V)  Probably F, because it's less scumbag, and I prefer F's poverty mechanics anyway.

I most certainly would have booted you but then I realize you guys would do the same if I were in the same situation so it's fair. You play some pretty scumbag characters yourself so I don't see why playing C would be such a deterrent. lol :V I'd recommend H-Ciel but I personally don't like how H's mechanics work for her.

Dippy, you need to let me know what I owe you; I'd like to get that squared away.

H-F, implying that W.Len (or just about every other character I've taken an interest in) isn't pain and suffering? :V  I guess I could do what everyone says I should do and play Nero, but every time I do, it seems like I find some little thing that irritates me and sends me back to Akiha.

You owe me about $125 ($95 for the room and $30 for gas). For the sake of completeness, Tempered owes me $125,000,000 and Mizuki owes me his soul.

When did Rei become a fairy and what happened to her eyes?

Tales of Xilla arrived; this'll be the first Tales game I've played since Symphonia.  Also have those other games I've been meaning to play (SMT4, finishing Soul Hackers, Virtue's Last Reward), not to mention my PSP backlock (Blazing Souls, Legend of Heroes 1 & 3, BRS, fuckifIrememberwhatelsetherewas).  Also, Senran Kagura 3DS titles getting localized; RIP.  And we finally got news on +R...

So what's going on with FGs?  I've only missed two weeks, but with stuff going on, it almost feels like two months.

Edit:  And I should be able to show this weekend, but I've no fucking idea what to play.  Besides MB and GG.

Honestly, MB and GG is probably all you need... unless you want to end up back in the VF vortex moo hah hah :bricks:

Nothing much has changed, except a couple of other people have been showing up since Ruben isn't hosting. I'm still debating if I should either ramp up in terms of support or pack it up and have everyone take the show elsewhere. Having the Phoenix communities split up like this makes no sense.

As a side note: if you're playing Tales games and you haven't played Vesperia yet... play it.
