Hey man, the Original Megaman games are all about giving you a thorough working over until you have a certain amount memorized =P

I don't mind the lack of mobility so much as I dislike the pacing ;_; I just like being able to move quickly, as is obvious from my character choice in most fighting games.

You mean today? lol I don't even know where Spiteful's is so I'm down to go to Melty Haus if that's ok. Sounds like Ted's going to the party. :| I'm fiending for competitive Melty matches but I also want me some GG this time around but it sounds like almost everyone who plays GG will be at Spiteful's.

There're also going to be a fair amount of people there, only so many setups, and knowing them, not everything will be for fighters. But hey, have fun.

I'm not against social events. I've gone to the same kind of events like that plenty of times back in SoCal where there was Rock Band but also a bazillion other setups for fighters. I'm just not sure how much space there will be, that's the thing. That and I really want to get back into serious MB again and I don't think that is the best place to do so. :|

Had a big list of reasons for not wanting to go, but I figure I can sum it up as: I don't expect there to be a whole lot of GG, no MB, abundance of alcohol, possibly a lot of people I don't and probably don't care to know, and it's pretty common knowledge that I don't like Spiteful and he doesn't like me

Spiteful's was surprisingly fun. Too much drunken Rock Band for my taste (and that's hard to do), but I actually got to play some good BBCS matches. And Dan got me to play GG at which point I realized that it's REALLY fun, so, gonna probably pick that up too. =D

If I head down, I need to do so and leave at a different time (preferably earlier) since my flight is early Friday morning. I wish this thread were more active on days other than Saturday (ie. the day stuff usually goes down).

I am, though it'll probably be around five when I get there. Class gets out at 4:15 and then I have to navigate around the horrible construction on Baseline around Kyrene. Dunno when you were hoping for.
