Unfortunately, I haven't (not that I check anymore though). The only places I know in Canada that have a MBAC cabinet are BC and TO. I think the majority of known players are from those regions as well, unfortunately.

Actually, the only real AB player is Tare. Okay, not anymore I guess. I heard of some players in Edmonton, but I don't know much about them.
I just found out today that our cabinet here is 25 cents play. It'd be awesome if people here would actually bother to go where it's out. LOL, I kinda doubt it. : (

If I did, I could of took you to RPM to play, which actually is in Richmond, but yeah, it's close to Vancouver, depending where exactly you are at. Still though, it's easy to get to. So I guess maybe next time, eh?

To get there, basically, keep on going down No.3 road until you get to Westminster Hwy. Since you said your coming down from Vancouver, go past Lonsdale Mall and West Hwy should be a block or two down past that. Then take a left on West Hwy, and go down a block or two, and the place will be on the right. It's small arcade in RPM.

Sphyra's from Ontario? If you read the NEC results (on SRK), it says that he's from Montreal. IDK, I guess you can ask him in #MBAC. BTW Canas, I saw some MB talk in Montreal's thread on SRK. I forget which guy was talking about the game, but it might be worth it to say something over there. He was talking about some tournament held over there IIRC.
You guys looking for ON players should talk to Badguy/MDK or Altergenesis. They both play MB, and are probably the ones that ran that tournament S.Blade's talking about. You can find them @ http://www.g3-evolution.tk/
Regardless, I think should try. People posting on SRM helped me find them, and I never knew about that website. I just randomly searched online for players.

The Lower Mainland is pretty populated and well developed. It's just if you go north of it the population largely decreases, and you'll find yourself in the middle of nowhere. I doubt it that we'll get it though, since arcade owners probably will remember how the game failed to make a splash and money, unless AA is really hype to others unlike us.

Oh wow, I just realized what you meant just now, Canas. :emo: Yes, the arcade scene here is still thriving, and we still get the latest new games, including fighters. My friend gave me a good reason why it is what it is, but I forget why. Maybe I'll post it if I remember what he said.

Anyways, I'm from Ontario, Lambton/Bluewater (Sarnia) area (Near London).
We've got a bunch of players here, I actually attend a local group dubbed "Otakaboo Club" where we... basically get together for 4 hours and do nothing.

We haven't played MB at all yet (we aren't an MB club) but we might play Actress Again if our Leader finds his swap magic.

My laptop manages to run the game fullspeed, and beautifully at that.
Even though my laptop is total shit.
There's also minor sound desync that is barely noticeable.

There's actually quite a few people to play in the Greater Vancouver area (ie: Press and Myself); they just all hangout on dustloop, instead of melty-bread.

NB here, we currently have 2 member playing MBAA weekend casuals. We already have the cabs for it so were considering getting CC on release. Any other maritimer's out their let us know, the minute we get more space to accommodate larger groups your more than invited to come play. This also goes for anyone else.

I have been thinking of trying to get back into Melty Blood: Actress Again.

At one point, Lovegetty Station did have a head to head cab of Melty Blood: Act Cadenza. I was playing it on and off, but that was at least a year and a half ago. It's been gone since then.
Considering things, I would be nice to see if they can manage a cab of Melty Blood: Actress Again Control Codes... but that would take some convincing.
