I know there's a midwest thread already, but its too big and broad and stuff, and we simply live too far away to play each other, basically.

Anywho, after NEC, a few of us got really hyped up for Melty again, we watched some SBO vids, and played a bit, but there's only a few of us who really play.

So if anyone is down for some MB in the Chicagoland area, post up and maybe we can get a gathering going!

Capps Indigo - V.Sion, Hisui
Orka - Aoko

If you wanna get together and play, post here, my place is fine to play at, and if Capps doesnt mind, his place is generally a good gathering spot as well. Im on the Northwest side of Chicago, he's in Skokie.

GET HYPE FOR MELTY! We also play Arcana Heart, GG:Accent Core, and i play IaMP as well.

A bit early, but worth asking nonetheless.

Anybody here planning on coming to Anime Central? I stop by every year :3. Sucks I can only play fighting games on keyboard :3.

Worth asking though to figure out if anybody wants to get meetings setup. I should be better off than last year becuase i actually have a cell phone now (I'm young and lame and can't drive :<)

Sup Chicago peoples, I'm going to waste all the money I saved up from working my life away to come to Anime Central this year. Just wondering if there was going to be a tourney there(nothing up on the official site yet it seems) or if anyone was going to get a gathering going? I'll bring my laptop and all that stuff just to have a set up anyway in my hotel room. HeartNana I would really like to get the chance to play you and the rest of the Chicago players if that is possible, since you will be there hopefully there won't be any problems meeting up.

Can't wait for this thing to happen. Thanks all.

You SHOULD be able to just use a controller there?

Unless you plan on playing on an arcade machine, you dont really need to know stick.

What I meant to say is, the single type of controller I am remotely capable of playing on is a keyboard, hahaha. Troublesome.

I would bring a portable USB keyboard if you have one, otherwise I dont see the problem with using a keyboard (personally, tho you REALLY should start using a controller of some sort...)

I debated buying a stick recently, if I"m going to get a controller, I'll probably go with that. I've tried using a pad before, I really didn't like the way it felt, I've used sticks some and they're not too bad, hahaha.
