Owner got a hold of four of 'em. Too bad it's a $1/play, and is heavily played by the JP students. Trust me, this ain't your "American metagame" place; you'll get owned if you play MB like that, haha.
The good news is that this place isn't as bad as FFA -- it''s not ghetto in/outside, which is a determining factor for most of us. Seriously, when my USC friend took me to FFA to check it out, I thought I was in Richmond. Not that the environment scares me as I've taken BART to Richmond several times, but the fact that a known "highly-skilled" gaming arena is in a crappy place kind of sucks. Blah, I digress.
Anyways, if any of you visit the center, try to look for a slightly-built, short Filipino guy who wears a black Ecko cap. Yes, that's most likely me :) I'm also the only guy who plays an H~S.Tohno "like my friend back at home!" (quote from a Japanese guy).

The UCB Bearcade has been gone for years now. I was there when it closed. This has to be an area near there because they posted a gellato place in it's place.

I've heard of BEARcade, except I've never seen it. Then again, I didn't really care much about Berkeley until I actually started going there.
Anyways, the place is off-campus. The only way for a student to actually go there would be to drive, as the place is a good 5-10 mins away from the campus. If you know of a place called Emeryville, then you'd know that it ain't that far away from Berkeley.
Once in Emeryville, hit up Public Market. A little bit of exploring and you'll end up hearing gaming noises. There you go.
And no, there isn't any website/listing for such a small shop. Really, this place is like a shack -- it's smaller than FFA.
P.S. This thread was only made to attract the people near this locale, lol. Coming from SoCal just to play with us is a bit... ludacris :(

Considering it's just a ghost account created yesterday, I doubt that warning means much.
Also condoning trolling to Sacchin Toast means that you take away the only reason NorCal posts anymore: Laughing at jealous scrubs that try to troll horribly like this just because they will never be one of us.
(Magz doesn't count as NorCal anymore cause he plays to much WoW, and that shit is stupid.)
