I dunno about shuttles, but I know the CAT buses have "The Deuce" (how can you not love that name?) which is the bus that runs along the Strip. If you want me to look up more info on shuttles, just lemme know.

A cab won't be too expensive though, since according to Google Maps the Trop is only 6.7 miles away from the airport. You'll just tell him to take you to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Okay, quick update. My grandma just died and I've been helping someone move recently, so it's been hard to get online for more than brief periods to check email and stuff. Just posting to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about the melty dinner. =>

I've reserved a room for myself from Aug 7 - 10th Thursday - Sunday. The price is $65 for Thursday and Sunday and $140 for Friday and Saturday with a $7.99 resort fee per day plus taxes. We can probably estimate $480 ($65 + 140 + 140 + 65 + 32 + tax) for the entire stay which is highballing it a little, so split 4 ways it would be $120 a person.

Sure, I guess. I don't have GH2 here though, nor do I have Rock Band (which is what I prefer now). My cousin-in-law has ps3 GH3, which I can play you in, but GH3 sucks imo. (I'll still play you in it though, lol)

Okay, further update. No kijea (though he will still make it to Evo), no arly, no hasuko. Our numbers are dwindling. Current count: Zar, Dippy, Jaxx. It is a dire time for what was supposed to be our strongest showing ever. Here's to making the best out of it.
