Even in a community, we have to be easily accessible to the people who are trying to become a part of this great community we have here. You always hear people daily asking questions about who can help me learn this character and where can I get some games in around my area (which is what this sub-forum is for.)

Komi's got the right idea, but I think he worded/came at a few people the wrong way that made some people think this was elitist. Don't get it twisted now. ANY and EVERY player is beneficial and known (to me atleast; can't speak for anyone else) if he/she contributes, supports, or respond on IRC/forums/polls when needed for the community in America and the game in general.

I'm saying this because we have alot of things in the works right now (official podcast planning for one) that can boost our game in the states even more. Iplaywinner has been wonderful giving us a chance to post interviews, basics, and our soon-to-be podcast on their main site from time to time. Having a thread like this wouldn't be half bad, but it needs to go through some changes.

I also re-worded what I put in my second post with the player list to try and reflect more accurately what I want to do/the point of the project.  I also added in a handful of people who posted as well.  I'm very sorry for any negative-connotation that's incurred from this post, but please read my edit as I thought very carefully about how to explain the value of this thread.  I may consider auto-completing the list to the best of my knowledge soon as many of the more notable/top players are busy people and/or have not seen this thread.

If you want to be removed from the main post or not put on (I will be adding the people on my 2nd post), please post saying so.  If you are an outstanding member of the community or a top player I would like to strongly request that you do not opt out.  If you want accurate information, just post your part now!  It'll take less than a minute!

I still update it.  I need to find someone more knowledgeable and willing to sit down with me for a at least an hour and sort through the majority of the player list in one of my earlier posts.  There's a lot of data I really wouldn't be able to find out.  I don't want to gip (WC players especially) out of mentioning out of their tournament placement/victories/etc just because I don't know them off hand.
