I thought this thread was dead.

Brawl looks cool, but I think its going to go the way of MvC where theres wayy too many characters for it to be balanced. Then again, i love being wrong about this sort of thing.

Keep in mind there are a few characters that are probably not going to make return appearances, such as Pichu.
I say the roster will be about the same size as melee.
