PAX 08 - Seattle WA

Real late for this thread, but anyway..
PAX is tomorrow. You've probably heard of it since it was coined as "the new E3".

Here's a last-minute thread for anyone interested in meeting up. I've only spoken to Zeyl, who told me he's going, and aaronyu, who told me he's not. Anyone else around can post here, and look for me at the event, I'll be around wearing my official Capcom shirts. If you see me, feel free to holler; I'll have my laptop with me, with MB and random stuff, also PS2 pads. We can have a seat somewhere for a match or 32.

You didn't see the Capcom shirt guy?  :D
To be honest, it'd sounded like you were gonna be tied up with that big crew you were gonna have with you (I figured there were girl-related obligations involved too :P) and you weren't up for MB or fighters. So I didn't try to call and bug you, I assumed you would look me up if you really wanted to. That time in the handheld lobby last year was great, to me.

I spoke to aaronyu2 and s-blade before the event but I never got called or anything, so I didn't meet them. No one wants to meet :( At least I tried...

I did find Veteru on friday night and then again on sunday. Some other random guys wanted MB on sunday, they apparently came up all the way from California (they said they were too used to MB on arcade). That room eventually became the 2D fighting room, with MB, 3rd strike, GG all going at the same time. There was even Alpha 2 at one point, and then Project Justice. Totally awesome, it became the real highlight of PAX, for me.

I'm gonna see if I can push to have a dedicated 2D fighting freeplay room next year.
