Michigan Monthlies

Hey everyone I just got this game and realized I live an hour north of Brandino and 40 min South West of ShardZ and was looking forward to playing fighting games with people. All people play around here is Smash and/or CvS2 and they get annoying pretty quick. I was hoping to organize some get togethers that anyone could come to every other Friday. If you're interested, POST UP!

I play: MB:AC ver.B, Naruto Shippuden: GNT EX2, Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 5, and Arcana Heart right now.

First monthly: Jan 11th @ 6pm.
Next monthly: Feb 8th or 15th.

I would expect getting them started AFTER Rob's tournament. If you guys want we can run one before but... I doubt I'll have the practice in to play by then. After Rob's we're good to go.

I'm more or less positive I can do this, so long as gas isn't an issue for me.  Plus another chance to play Arcana so i can  and actually get decent with it would be a-ok with me.  And no, I'm not paying for any carpet/floor stains

It's cool, my roomie and I are moving out after the school year anyway.

Looks like ShardZ is coming over Friday to hang out and possibly have my USB adapter. The first bi-weekly I'd like to hold would most-likely be after Rob's tournament. However, we could also hold one next week too, I just will still have no idea what I'm doing in this game.

So can you give me some estimate or time this is gonna go down?  Also an address would be good too(you can pm me that if you want) so i know how long a drive it is.

Okay guys I'm starting to have monthlies starting, well, tomorrow. Since a lot of us are going to Rob's the next week and other tournaments in general, I don't want people to be spending too much money on gas. We'll start them back up the week after Rob's on Friday Feb 8th or even Feb 15th.

January 11th-
Time: @6pm or after, seeing as parking is free in Ann Arbor after 6 pm.

I didnt think i'd be near UofM-AA, I go to that area from time to time, so i shouldn't have any problems getting there.  Just please, PLEASE let me know if something happens and you can't play.

What do you mean, if it doesn't end up happening? It's happening, dun worry. I wouldn't be worry about that. Now about if I can't play.... I'm not good at the game, but that's what the others coming are for XD

Also, could someone bring their PC laptop with MB:AC on it? Might be better if we have two, plus my monitor's a little screwy.

I'm somewhat new to the game, maybe a week in .. now normally im decent at fighting games but i need to work on the advanced stuff before i even try to play many other people .. i sometimes play with my friend over the net though .. but i just thought id mention i live in canton, MI .. shouldnt be so far from everyone .. so at some time in the future maybe i could get in on a tourny or something.. maybe i can drag my friends gorski and tack along as well.. if you wanted more people that is , was a little surprized to see a collection of people near here to have somethin on the forum so i felt compelled to post heh

Sup man, good to see we're already getting someone interested in these monthlies. I also read in your other post that you're a Ciel player, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask on the forums, PM, or just ask me whenever you see me at the next monthly (sometime next month hopefully).

Yeah we had quite a few people from both Ohio and Michigan and even a tekken player who we met at JJ's even stopped by for some games. Hopefully we'll be able to see you next month or something and get some games going.

i need you guys to bug my friend gorski too .. his AIM is Emperor Zoozoon .. mainly because hes slackin and always idles and wont netplay , he'll say he's there but hes just BSing.. its his idling/blame deflector , like a franklin badge.. but you need to bug him about goin to one of these monthlies or just in general , i need some help heh
