<.< I cant wait to play him over the summer, Rorec that is, Since now he only plays AC we never get to face eachother anymore. . . besides my being on a wireless conection makes it pointless to netplay.  Netplay isnt bad if you have good connections, I dont really know howmany times im going to say that when you play vs someone at 60FPS and FS1 there is no difference between that and 2 player mode on a PC.  But im sure people will hear even more about netplay come Ver.B's PC release and assuming someone makes a Good netplay patch for it.

Maybe netplay is bad even at FS1, Assuming that there are just-frame combos(in FT) that people would actualy use and the game totaly skips that one frame you have to execute it or whatever.

Rorec isnt really from SRM, He just came on #SRM to play people.

In my last post, I also forgot to mention that I played Arcueid in Melty Blood... and I beat her fairly bad.

Then she destroyed the con (along with the rest of the world), so that was a bad end. Thankfully The Game (which you just all lost) has hacks, so we're still good.

So just from this thread, in MA there's Ruko, KoreanDJ and myself, with Rorec coming back in May-ish. There's also King Dooky, but he's easily forgotten. There's also Kayin/NekoJesus in CT and Light Nazgul in VT and probably a couple of other people I'm forgetting (wasn't there one guy at Natick?)

So let's get that bread.... somehow.

Editament: I did just as well in VF5 as I did in MB:AC. So fuck this game, basically.

wow you play VF XD sweet, i play aswell though only casualy, my friend who goes to tekken gatehrings said that they play VF5 now too^^  i'm waiting for it for my 360 so i can check it out, its been over a year since i played VF4E so im X_X.

Yeah I dunno I think Rorec might host something over the sumer so maybe we can do gatherings and not have to go all the way out to TGA >.>

I'll host some fest at my apartment like a promised sometime in June. I hope most of you are free on Weekdays cuz weekends are getting more jammed up in the summertime.
I'll probably do a $5 tournament as well just to keep the competitive scene not fading away.

For real though, I'll ask people to bring PS2's/Melty Blood/TV's/etc. later on and provide more specific details when June gets closer. I just have to adjust what my summer school life is going to be like and I'll adjust accordingly.

I think most people work normally during the week ( ), but oddly enough I have Fridays off. I always have enough equipment to run a complete setup and should be good for that.

I think there's a web2zone tournament going off sometime in June, you wouldn't want to overlap that. If any locals here are interested in rolling out for that, let me know -- they're a very good opportunity to play good players and get the stupid beat out of you.

Also learn some goddamn real V.Akiha combos.

They have 3S at this event and every other Evo game but SSBM (those are held at another time).

I am more than willing to drive but IIRC you are an hour north of me and NYC is about four hours south. So if you can get down to where I live that would be great (the commuter rail will get you here), but if not it'll just take some combination of berating and money on your part. Fair warning, I typically spend some time before and after the event at Sp00ky's; I'm not sure how many people he is willing to house (if any at all), so I need to run that by him. -_-;;

There's also the option of getting to Boston and taking the FOB BUS to NYC. It is kind of annoying, but it works, and it's cheap.
