I wish I could come, but I'm working a big weekend shift (as usual).

On another note, it's a little under two weeks until the 25th and I found out from a friend that Comicpalooza is going on that weekend. It's not as anime-heavy as Anime Matsuri was, but it sounds like a fun alternative if anyone's up for it.

So I got word from Stone that there's going to be a tournament(?) at Comicpalooza. Dunno what tournament though, but it's an option if you're interested.

Also, Airbrush King said that if we bring a setup to his new venue, he'll stream Melty for your Brazil buddies back home.

Additional costs? Will other Houston players come if it's an event run by ABK? Not that I mind so much, but I think that some of the people that are thinking about coming down with me are contingent upon it costing little to nothing, or on more players from Houston showing up.

Don't quote me on costs, but I'd very much assume entry fee is part of it. It's on a Thursday iirc, so for you guys it's a non-issue.

Isaac said he's going to talk to the anime gamers here. Should be a good turnout. (Matt said he might come too woot woot)

You guys were mentioning it earlier, looks really promising, it's been years since I've been to anime or comic related events, might be fun to go even if it's just to chill out. Since my mom will be attendind a conference while we are there I'll have a lot of time for myself, any sort of activity is welcome.

A stream would be gdlk, I know for a fact that some of the players here would love to see it. Hey, they might actually cheer for me.

Let me know how that turns out and I'll spread the word.

Yeah, those are it. Monster's arcade is one of the businesses attending it, and they also host weekly hookups too. So yeah.

-Casuals start at 7pm
-Tournaments start at 9pm

$6 venue fee ($3 with setup) for all games all night
$5 per game entry

Let me know if you want to go, I can pick you up and take you there if you like. I'll even take care of your venue fee too.

Yo. Sry about last weekend. Diablo 3 came out...

Anyways, don't forget about this weekend. Houston trip. I have access to the space bus, so I can prolly take as many people as want to go. I need to discuss the plan with Pat and Pfhor, but my original though was to leave DFW Saturday morning and come back Sunday afternoon/evening. I'll post again when I have the plan worked out.

Okay, so basically everyone else in DFW had something come up last min or otherwise can't make a trip down to Houston. I'm still going to go, because I said I would go like a long time ago. For everyone who can't go to Houston but still can make it to Denton on Friday. Pat is going to host on Friday, so feel free to come play.

Inso, I'm sorry that we could not deliver a better turnout than just me, but this weekend just did not work out for most of us.
