You should respect Tohno at this angle, as his poke will beat yours in general. Plus JB is hard to confirm off of, even if it CH's.
0:23 - Good 5C AA. 5C raw AA is only reserved for when the opponent uses up all their airmovement, and you responded accordingly when he did. 5C pickup after CH was fine, Hnanaya probably has better combos in this situation.
0:27 - Hnanaya meaty is weak, and that's to makeup for his good air enders and metered options. With this height, and angle, should have just commited to 2B > 236B meaty. It's ~2k damage and can go into metered knockdowns, and will force respect easier.... or you can just end in one JBC or j214x. Ctohno 214A is good here.
0:35 - good recognition of awkard distance in your combo and accomodating with airdash mid-way. However you want to use your meter next time, Hnanaya in heat with such a big life gain isn't really that scary, espcially since you count on your meter alot. Try ending earlier with j214C.
1:00 - Melty Hitboxes. You got lucky, and this looked hilarious. Respect next time at this angle since you even have your backturned, so it's pretty silly to think of JA'ing, lol . Also, when picking up the combo, if you're unsure, go for 2C technpunish/otg. Most players will tech here.
1:08 - when tohno is at a range where none of his B or A normals can no longer connect, it's probably time to challenge him. Make him realize you're willing to challenge him at this distances, but don't do it recklessly. Allowing him re-entry for free is a mistake.
Round 3 - Netplay...
1:58 - Good 5A5C AA, this is the anti-air used most. It's good because you can do it even when the opponent has some air options left as 5C will chase them most of the time, as shown.
2:05 - Next time you're in heat and am down this low on life in neutral, back off, never go in. risking a hit, especially an air one, is not what you want in this situation.
Then more silly stupid netplay moments like Anti-air 2A and dropped confirms, slopslopslop with a good JA and 5A5C in there.
Netplay matches are kinda silly to analyze. Also, Hnanaya is still a very boring character.
