Casual sets between two very good players: Surume(H-Nanaya) vs You(F-Arc).
Apparently you can combo after his Arc Drive(which as you know is the AAD version) as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=tq76Qz-MiIY#t=374s .

Keishikimi(Tama) released a new Nanaya combo video,it has stuff from alot of versions, which also include some cool hnanaya 214a combos!

Ranpo's(H-Nanaya)a matches from the latest Red vs White.I have to say he does quite well,he manages to take out 4-5 people before going down.
Ranpo's style is really different from what you usually see nanaya being played,he focuses more on minimal ground movement and using his normals or his dash/backdash to open his opponents up.
-
I'm starting to like his style, great use of normals to punish jumps and mashing, and sometimes a surprise 214 to catch the oponent.
-
can we get some F-nanaya vids?
-
I don't know if anyone found this already, but I made a quick video of a funny Nanaya reset I found just now.

The thing is, when fighting against other people, it's quite unlikely that they will try to tech out of a 214C to give you the chance to 2C tech punish.
-
That 2C doesn't look like a tech punish at all; try it with all guard on, and try not reacting and doing the universal 2C timing. I doubt you'll be able to cover each time and still be safe while doing a proper meaty setup. This is cute but not worth it, it's better to jb and try to link afterwards if you're going for this
-
@ BurstOfAnger
Ah I see. I thought that the OTG hit would force them to tech. But since the opponent can stay lying down, you're left pretty open if you try to punish a tech.
@ Rokunaya
Ahh I see what you mean by the guarding, now. It really does make the timing harder, and that combined with what BurstOfAnger brought up makes it pretty unreliable after all, oh well.
-
But, it might be a reliable OTG string starter. And after THAT one, the 2c tech punish becomes more viable.

Awesome set between Ranpo(H-Nanaya) and You(F-Arc).
The floor is lava.
