zaelar did in fact OCV lk/tonberry twice; chibi remembered rokunaya almost getting a game on LK
but judging by the fact that LK/tonberry spent the whole night thinking of anti-zaelar strats and testing framegaps, i doubt he would've knocked out either one in singles (maybe if he stepped it up and yomi'd their yomi)

A shame that this couldn't happen a week ago lol. However, it was decent show, guys. Not amazing or anything but a definite improvement from the last few...*ahem* "shows" that were put up. Subjects and content was good/interesting and it seems that, for the most part, research and homework was done (this time). Overall, a good recap on the event with talk about upsets, mvps, key matches and matchups, kumuhandjobs (do what you want w/ this), and personal experiences/pov.
Looking forward to future NECXI interviews, international outlooks, online interviews, match analyses and whatever else you guys intend to do to keep that homepage saturated with MB related updates and news. Keep at it and keep going in hard (do what you want w/ this).
Nitpicky shit:
-Less boohooing and bitching about characters, his character and "cheap shit" from Chibi
-You guys tend to sound a bit stiff and forced the first few mins of a show. Stop trying so hard and just relax and have fun with the show. Convince yourselves that you're experienced with this lol.
-Requesting more blowups from Fox. Hearing scrubs get put on blast makes me :laffo:.
Also forgot to mention...
FUCK the APW Thread. The same 5 faggots pot-monsters keep bumping that garbage.

That was actually kill my tension. I really wanted to make something happen, but my hands and everything were shaking, killing my execution. That helped me stop a little, though i definitely still had jitters.

I can care less about his motives for blowing up said scrubs. As long as they take what is said to heart and step it up (thus shutting him up in the process) OR just fucking quit/find a new game/watch anime instead (cus the competitive community could use less "dead weight" anyway). I dunno, that's just how I feel about the matter. :blah:

Zar, your hate on the weeaboo levels is completely understandable, but I'm not a pot-monster and I'd rather not be associated as one.
I like interviews, so looking forward to various top 8 people being on. Also international interviews sounds interesting, but it'll probably end up sad.
I don't really have anything I could ask for from melty match vids. I haven't been paying attention to videos since it'll just make me want to play CC and get sad. Sorry for being antihype. =<

Did anyone find F-S Akiha's strong okizeme a bit overwhelming...? I mean after about 20 times and

Even compared to how Ryougi`s have fared, I think something needs to be done, unless someone wants to argue that the players are terrible for not being able to read her mixups?
She's not doing THAT well in tournaments generally. This is the first tournament I've seen her get first(outside of the all SAkiha tournament) and the majority of the other players in the tournament were people I haven't seen at all before. The general mixup that most of them are running is 22 knockdown into onion ring into dash jump followed by
- airdash back h/f akiha jc(can't remember what it is for fsakiha)
- land 2a
- land command grab
This is a pretty standard MB mixup that numerous characters, most notably Kouma, have. It's not too strong by any means.
