I've decided that since I'll have some time during summer to do w/e, I'll be commentating on matches.
The catch?
Members of the forum can PM me matches they think are worth analyzing. And these will be live-streamed sometime in the next two weeks. (Giving people time to send me matches and time to go through them) This will help keep people's interest in melty while we wait (lol?) for a port of some kind.

I think every 1.05 match up until this point is good for commentary.

It would be better for people to pick out the matches they want analyzed because it would give a different perspective on how the flow of a match goes.
Expect a date/time-frame around next Wednesday.

Sorry to hijack your thread Fox, but this seems dead, so I've decided to make a move back on my old stream project as well.
Basically it'll be a weekly thing, either once or twice a week, where I go over matches on nicovideo/youtube with live commentary and detailed analysis; It's mainly going to be for the players who have no idea what's going on, but I'll try to make it fun for veterans to watch as well. I'm thinking once every thursday or once every weekend, which one do you guys think is better?

I don't even really read the forums anymore, would have commented on this otherwise.
I like the idea, its neat but honestly, it's a little flawed. Most of the people who would want to tune into stuff like this tend to watch these videos when they come out/subscription/random browsing nico or whatever so rewatching it with some bros ain't quite as hype. The whole idea of the community tuning in to watch stuff together like this is awesome but if you plan to make it a spread out thing ( I know this isn't your fault either ) with submitted vids for a session then it's harder to get viewers, so maybe something like a community snychtube would be a better idea? Not that we don't like hearing you put JP players on blast Fox :teach:
I'd also like to see like particular ideas on focused chars instead of just general vids.
I'll throw some vids your way, if you want some other help or shit with it I'm totally up for it.

Ok so we got the first "show" done today and it went well setup wise. I'll be sure to try and actually schedule times for the next shows.
So this show was a Mikado set from 6/24. If you want to have a character analyzed I'll be glad to use the vids either you provide me or I can try to find some on my own. Otherwise if I dont have any suggestions/ideas, I'll just use a long match set like a ranking battle.
Any criticism/ideas/lolneedsthis is welcome. :toot:

Sounds fun.
Some character variety would be appreciated. Been watching a lot of matches lately but it's really boring 'cause all i ever see is Nero, Kohaku and Satsuki (Somebody play some Arcueid please!).
If you could refrain from pronouncing character names with an American accent that'd be nice. It's hurtful whenever i hear "Sæætskii", "Niirow" and "Kowhæku".

I'll make a request. I've seen like only one or two vids of H-VSion in 1.05.
Prolly due to my lake of access to nico.
