really? maybe for Evo videos we can collaborate something? like really nice quality.
I use PNG files for my overlays, and premiere for all my video editing. Encoding i've got down, unless you can beat a quad-core. I think, i'm looking for a typesetter that can draw out the brackets real nice. I'm also looking for someone who knows Adobe Aftereffects to make moving transitions and clipping masks. Magz was good with the sound stuff for wt4, but i want to find some good alternatives to record melty at evo.
Sadly I can't help with recording Evo, but for upcoming West Toasts I say we get a dedicated mic to record the ambient sound of the crowd in the background, and keep the commentator's mic on a separate track . My friend's boom mic might do the trick.
How did the syncing work by the way? I wasn't sure at the time, but it seems like the replays save when the opponents change screens between rounds, making the individual match itself sync with no work at all. I may or may not be wrong, I don't have any replays to test it with just yet.
I'd dabbled in a little After Effects. What sort of transitions were you thinking of?
