^top4 for those that have been patiently waiting for random-ass-anything-can-happen-single-elim footage. Rd2 and part of Rd3 of Zaelar v Zar is not present due to technical difficulties w/ the camera so I will place the rep file of the entire match along w/ spooky's ul to fill in those blanks.
I'll try to find my tripod ,as someone suggested to me, for a more steady shot the next time. Also thinking of writing up brief interview questions for next event top2 (good chance on me being lazy on this) for less randomness at the end.

Despite this BBG having the least amount of people, I still had a blast. It was definitely the most entertaining gathering for BBG thus far imo. It was cool hanging out w/ you guys for lunch and all that and appreciate having you all make the trip out to the blazing city of New York (96 fucking degrees =[ ) that day just for a few hrs of melty play. Stay hungry and run it back next time around. I just hope the weather will be a bit cooler then.
Dessert Coffin: youse a cool dude, man. It was fun teaming up and sharing my most secret, l33t tactics w/ you (shhhh dont tell anyone, k). Drone out those hisui traps for the next time you decide to show up cus I need to learn how to defend against it.

Some funny NEC stories you had there at the lunch spot. Too bad we didnt hang out around that time for the lulz. NightRoad/Kamina: DUDES, IM SO SORRY. I should have gone w/ Chibi to CF to run a sweep for other players (since I remember your faces). Next time, please take a pass by Columbus Park (on Mosco St.) and check to see if we're set up there. I think the plan for now will be to take a lunch break at 4, head back to CF for a roundup, then head to the park @ 5pm. Starting the tourney a bit earlier will leave more time for casuals on Zaelars and my laptop. I'll post more details when I put up info for BBG IV so this wont happen again.

Damn, Sp00ky's video mixup is too strong. Your supposed to wait 3mths before you ul a vid!! (or never bother to release it). All jokes aside though, good stuff getting the matches up and out of the way in a timely fashion. The text add libs were hilarious too. Very nice choice on text font as well. Everything was clear and easy to see (as far as the text goes). Now we need a way to reduce glare on the monitor for better visual (go, outdoor events :emo:) Also, thanks for randomly putting up the "Tinshi wants to run a freakin' MB singles at the last minute" tournament footage. Completely forgot about that.

Spooky: damn, bruh. Vsion's def sucks. Makoto did at most two full bnbs per rd. and some random throws and hits here and there then you were just dead ???. The biggest F'up though was not watching your meter when MS was clinging to his dear life. Tried to go for ex combo w/o the meter. Gotta stop auto piloting that combo and make those last second, clutch decisions.
Rithli: nice aoko there, Mr. I Dont Play This Gaym. You have an good understanding of how to move around w/ her where you have most of the other US Aokos run around w/o heads :P. Mess around w/ her other setups so I can learn what its like to be on the receiving end of it and remember: ....Aoko has THREE jumps lol *looks at team game footage*

Zaelar: holy fuck, lets never speak of this bbg...ever. The quality of the match overall was atrocious. Lots of dropped bnbs/choking, taking poor, random risks - it was just awful. Left a bad taste in my mouth (no homo) like with my match vs Xaq at Nec8 (which never happened too btw :mystery:). You took some braveheart risks with the 2d's. Never seen you play like that before. What was up w/ that? Also you gotta get up on the 4way street mixups. Throw into corner shenanigans are still cool but 4way would be good to throw in your game as well. Hit up CLMovie vids, he runs that shit all day.

Learn how to space properly and use good judgment when choosing a CH followup. Unfortunately theres no real way to practice for this in training mode so you'll have to learn through match exp. Keep your eyes open and keep at it.

Truthfully I barely remember anything on that Sunday Dippy, I had an ugly head cold (which turned into a fever the next day) and I was much more into Arcana for the that time period (thanks to the console release two months prior) so I didn't even bother practicing for MB.

Well I just got orders to go to North Carolina August 8th so I might have to use some of my leave to make it to EVO this year assuming I outprocess that day so EVO's still up in the air. AMC is out for me since its in July and I'm still in tech school. So if you have WTXIII after EVO towards the end of August or sometime in September and if I can find someone to house me then yeah I'll show.
Edit: Not to be rude or anything, but it just sounds a bit random that I'm being asked to come out to California. I would love to come out there actually, but its really up to the timing of WTXIII and the timing that I get to my first base.

Anyhow, despite the dwindling number of entries we are getting, BBG4 was still hot to death! By far the most entertaining and hilarious of the 4 (It was just TOO RANDOM). GG's to you all - had lots of fun and laughs. Need more and MORE casuals next time.
Kamina: damn, that kouma is getting serious. I learned a lot about how his stagger, delay and throw string yomi works from you. (I can watch jp matches and finally understand how they get away w/ certain things). Those airthrow attempts are mad gdlk and on point more than half the time...too bad you dont END YOUR COMBOS WITH THEMMMM. :emo: Keep that in mind for the next time around. Did the best I could with what I had. filesize is a lot bigger than I wanted and there is a spot where there is no sound for about 2-3 seconds because of how I had to sync up the crowd sound.
But not to be immodest this is one of the best MBAC vids quality wise I've ever seen.

Ok, (late ass) updatttteeessss!
Added epic singles footage (top of bbg5 portion), the Exhibition/Assassins match (bottom of bbg5 portion), and some 8v8 team footage teasers (below singles results bracket). I'm still pestering Linalys to finish up the 8v8 footage (this was partially my fault due to indecisiveness) and as soon as that is complete I'll let you all know.
Video presentation this time around was quite impressive (thank you Sp00ky & Linalys) and the turnout for bbg5 was hype-tastic. Good stuff to EVERYONE that showed and to those that are doing their part to build on the community. You should all give yourselves a nice pat on the back. In all my years of competitive (fighting) gaming I dont think Ive seen a group of ppl as devoted to 'their game' as you all showed me at the last event (esp considering the...'conditions' lol). Props to you all (:blah:) and to everyone else (WC cats too): lets keep dis here MB 100% JUICED!

Going by results it looks like the best here is...

4)KDZ/Sp00ky
Jiyuna hasn't lost to anyone. He won the only tournament he entered, taking out both Zar and myself in the process. It isn't a large sample of results, but it is decisive and the most recent.
Zar has won more tournaments than anyone else to date. His only losses are to Jiyuna(bbg5), Sp00ky(bbg2), and Zaelar(bbg1), the 3 people who won the respective tournaments. He won 3 tournaments total(two on the same day). His dominance only disrupted by being 0-1 with Jiyuna.
Zaelar won one tournament, got third once, and was second for the rest. Always in the top 4 and has only lost to Sp00ky(1-1), Zar(1-4), and Jiyuna(0-1). A poor record against Zar, but otherwise nothing that can't be recovered from.
Sp00ky has a better overall track record than KDZ, however KDZ has done better more recently, including defeating Sp00ky in 5.

MKV is a container.
what you mean is h264, and the answer is no, not because I am trying to make things more difficult for non windows users but because my streamlined approach for vids works best in wmv at this time, though I have plans for h264 in the near future. I ask that you bear with the wmv in the meantime.

The only thing I noticed was the audio sync but that's a pain in the ass regardless. It kinda becomes problematic when LK's commentary broadcasts the future or when a certain character makes a death noise 3-4 seconds before he/she dies, but it's not that big a deal. H264 looks really nice although I think the size to quality ratio could use a bit of tweaking (the match looked like a full quality fraps >_>).
Nice montage at the start by the way. Big + for the Akagi music too.

And yes the point of it is to make the actual matches look almost fraps quality. 350 megs is a bargain considering the actual fraps footage added up to 8 gigs.

I'm probably going to revert back to wmv after this one and just up the bitrate. H264 looks much better but the cpu requirements are just a bit too high.
