Well of course I'm going to catch on to stuff if you run it back  ::). You chose a wacky-ass format Zaelar, and technically Xaq had the most wins before the "mystery four-man finals"  :mystery:.

As for the replays.......HOLY DESYNCING DOOM, BATMAN. I dont know if it was just my laptop but every other Aoko replay (including rithli) desynced or started to desync (full screen throws  ???) and resynched back  :psyduck: :slowpoke:. Can someone confirm this madness?

Shout-tro:

MSFox: awww shiiiii. you stepped it up to COMPLETE AIR COMBOS w/ the airdash! Good shit, good shit. Saw some tk flames and other high lvl stuff here and there too. Glad to see you're taking this game serious enough to practice hi lvl techniques. I may have to show you her other grimy set ups next time we meet up. Until then, keep watching vids!

Rithli: Man, I know you were itching to play DAT BLITZ the whole time we were there lol :fap:. GGs in BK and we'll do another set of 100 games or so the next time. Good stuff w/ Aoko btw. You claim to not know much about the game but you have a good idea of how to move and spam (jumps, airdashes combined w/ layzuhz and 0rbz). Cop the pc ver and try to pull yourself away from jewpunching and start lolipunching.

Sibla: Dude, that shit you were doing in training mode w/ warc.....PLZ DO THAT IN ACTUAL MATCHES!!!  :emo:. Those strings are fucking beast and can be quite difficult to react to. You did manage to go crazy on Zaelar for one match but other than that it was the same generic ring ender  :'(. Not that you should exclude that from your arsenal - you should just mix in other things as well to keep the opponent off balance  :psyduck:. Also, learn how to slow down the pace and bait shit out on wake up. I honestly believe you could have one your matches against Xaq (yes, xaq) and Zaelar had you chose to bait just a bit more. I expect to see stupidity (the good kind) from you at the next DeathBurger.

Xaq: Your arc is getting more solid. Saw some 'new' kaiho setups and other crossup triiiiicks. One day I'll stop you from being so hasty to pressdabutans but Arcs normals (which are really specials) have this insane priorty and RANDOM FUCKING CLASHING that is going to make that a challenge.

....stop hating on DAT RANMA!  ;D

Chibi: Your Hisui is just not scary. You need to rtsd when the chances come up and learn how to get inside ppls heads. I as well as Xaq can read your tick throw setups from a mile away and if we feel even the least bit 'threatened' we'll just mash 2a cus we know the tick throw is coming lol. Try to come up w/ ways to get around that (low 2jc or better rebeats?) cus we really shouldn't be doing that and we need to be put in our place. Work on the block strings too cus youre giving your opponent way too much breathing room w/ the 623a and 5c (nothing?) finishers. Watch more vids and examine her ludicrous strings and take notes - for the love of god, take notes:teach:

Min: *Ryoga yell* aw man, you weren't kidding when you said you were going to get into MB. I'm glad you took the time to view vids, ask for help, and step that shit up. I suck for missing your casual matches but I'll be sure to view and criticize next time....That is if we're not too busy owning up SMASH TV!!  8) Whats good w/ Shock Troopers (1) at the next event. Yeah, all of that shooter-talk started to jog my memory.

Zaelar:
So close to having a solid CL but.....you do stupid shit. Plz stop using Hiero as AA and giving your opponent 100% circuit as well as potentially endangering your chars health. Plz stop using Hiero on wake up w/ a 90% lead and wondering "how the fuck did I lose". Plz stop using Hiero for trying to counter what you may think are attack patterns but get tricked instead when it was actually a rebeat string  :-\.  Plz learn fuzzy guard j.x>land>j.c>j.236c to add to the arsenal of oki and mixup.

Chibi & Zaelar: Once again, thank you guys for being outstandingly good chaps and showing us a rather smashing time at the Lesko Manor. Good show!!  :teach:

zar are you even aware that your attitude is what drove people off in the first place. i think zar's attitude is worse than all of that. cause neither of you guys mean anything. but zar can poison shit around him. zar's the one that gets personal online and does realtalk that's out of line.

Yeah.

Fuck.

Wish I could just get over this damn wall and be halfway decent / acceptable already.

You need to break down a way to counter every possible counter to your situations. If you already know every good anti-counter, then just ask "What is he scared of that my Hisui can do" and use the next counter accordingly. But this is basic stuff. Are you getting frustrated about something during the match? (i.e.: execution, getting read) If it's execution, then you'll subconsciously attempt to do the same thing over and over until you're confident of getting it right (i.e.: tick throws) and you need to either go off on another attack pattern entirely or be tricky about it instead of frustrated. You have all the right tools and tactics, you just don't have a good overall strategy to put it all together. Figure out what positions Hisui is most threatening and attack from those.

In all honesty, tick throws in general are only good until you become predictable. It may be most beneficial to just stop tick throwing altogether and just bait and punish the mashing of 2a when they feel "threatened".

Chibi, were you on stick by any chance? Your exec seemed a tad off... (Admittedly I haven't seen all the replays yet.)

Oh, and nothing scares Zar, don't worry about it >_>

This is Chibi you're talking about.  He'll probably forget you're talking about him by the time he's halfway through your posts.

And how about all those overheads I took from Zar?  I eventually started to block high...only to go low again just before it hits.

Yeah, you say it easier then it can really be acted upon. Playing the likes of Zar / Xaq tends to get a bit overwhelming because (especially in Zar's case) they're already thinking two steps ahead, so I tend to defeat myself before even trying. And then when I'm actually winning I think I'm in the wrong and getting lucked out with stupid shit.

But yeah, sometimes I'm not seeing this 'scary' potential Hisui's got, and sometimes I do, it's just the necessary push I have to continously give myself so I don't get set back. I know what she's got, I just don't act upon it as much as I should. Or some other emo shit like that :P.

Yes. You'll see me do block strings in the corner and come out with laddle-fu instead, but yeah, more or less adapting to stick from now on so it'll be a bumpy road :S.

Yeah, that's a given.

And you keep forgetting that Hiero isn't the answer to bloody EVERYTHING.

XAQ: You know when arcana comes out you're gonna stop practicing CvS2. :p

Zaelar: I'm starting to see why everyone hates Ciel.

Chibi: Its not hard using stick. You just need to get less angry when you mess up ol' chap.

Rithli: When you said you didnt know much about melty anymore, that was a lie! GG's.

sibladeko: Why does blood rings make me think of Akuma? I dunno.

Min: Step up dat melty and I'll try to step up my CvS2. ID

Nah, you're right. My exe that wknd was laughable. W/O a doubt I had the worst success rate for combos; dropping bnbs that I've been doing since I've been using Aoko. And the 'high lvl' stuff, forget about it  :emo:. I'd like to blame it on my extensive netplay exposure but even after hrs of playing irl I didnt see any improvement. It doesnt take me 5+ hrs to make such an adjustment and that really began to piss me off. I was on the verge of breaking something cus i was being defeated by something so damn simple. Oh well, guess it's not that simple (lies, yes it is) and I need to hit training mode a bit harder.  ::)

@ Zaelar:
Think you can arrange another DeathBurger on Oct. 20th? That's a wk before next W2Z event and would be a good time to train up before.

Did anyone confirm the F-ed up d/s'ing Aoko reps?  :psyduck:

I was thinking about doing something in november to have something between w2z and loli championships, but I'll see about october as well.

I didn't watch many replays, but the one that did desync on me(wasn't an Aoko one) resynced for the second round after a time over in the first.  I'm just thinking now that it might have caused a lost third round if the results got skewed in there.

You was droppin combos like you was chibi :emo:
