thanks to everyone I played in tourney and casuals, you guys made it worth coming down to this shitty city, next time I'll probably be playing a new character  

and a very special thanks to hennessy and pineapple juice, $1 margaritas and $3 Irish carbombs, and the Ellis Island restaurant, I probably wouldn't have survived without them

By the way, when zar and I headed down early day 2 to grab the setups that we thought people had left on day 1, we set up a bunch of ps2s in that awesome hype teams area and....we realized they were all japanese ps2s with official MB games in them. so the setups came too late for friday (eight setups) but we got to use them all for teams (i think there were four or five or so of them that were theirs)

I should have stuck around more for casuals, but GGs to everybody I played in the ballroom and in 2467 or whatever at 2 AM on Monday lol. I hope finals were hype, I slept through it unfortunately...I was hoping they wouldn't run it first, oh well.

Judging by your avatar that was probably me.  |---| close to winning!  He destroyed me in casuals later, though.  20-8 I think?

Regardless, the weekend was very fun.  I wish I had played more but the whole event was just too exhausting.  Great matches with everyone I played in singles, and I enjoyed the limited amount of casual.

I find it very surprising that my main motivation for going to Evo was to  play Melty yet I played probably less than two hours total outside the tournament.

Thanks for having me in room 3983 guys.  Especially Shin.  You're a very swell guy and you were very accommodating to us all.

• Zar for being Stream Monster all day before he actually got to Vegas and having such a nice F-Ciel/Mech
• Brandon and Shinobi for teaming up (and winning) the team tourney with me. Nice games.
• Rayza for being such a troll on IRC and being a cool person (even cooler while drunk) IRL.
• Xie for giving me self-confidence on my Matches and for selling me the nendroid :3 (and being handsome, damn) P.s. no homo
• Fox for being such a nice Akiha player but blanking out in our MM. x3 I like your character and playstyle.

• Dippy for holding the official Melty Room, and sleeping while we were all playing in the room full of 20+ppl lol
