Spring Cup was our biggest event since the community's beginning, with 38 participants (out of 54 subscribes). It was a democratic event: participated in the recent and the former, although many couldn't be able to play for one or another important reason, since it was with fixed day and time. We had, however, the presence of player who never before had appear, like Faber, VonSouza and Roundabout. Be all very welcome. Moreover, we had the participation of Shin, our dear old community leader and bot of our old MSN chat, key person behind the scene we have today, of Lanford and Ky, who didn't participate a tourney for years, of Keoma, my friend from times who today is a renowned Street Fighter IV top player in Brazil and plays Melty Blood once in a year, of SrTroll and Cabritagem, who began to play about one week before the event: we had the presence of many; Spring Cup was like an event is suppose to be: something that gather everyone around in something fun and with high competitive potential. Yes, in our point of view Spring Cup was a sucess.

The execution of the championship was swift, although some players were a little off. The schedule was posted in Spring Cup threads (on all the different forums) and in the chat for several times during the event, however apparently the link didn't appear for some players, probably by mibbit webchat's fault (we don't ask people to acess it via mIRC for nothing). The event followed the schedule strictly and we finished around 11 pm as expected. As the organizar I might say that the results channel and the help channel were really helpful. Thank to everyone who strove for smooth running of the tournament.

During the event, some incidents happened and shall be me mentioned at a curiosity level. Arkhar was classified, however he gave up the competition because the internet was bad in his whole city and he didn't want to push down the eliminatory phase: a example to be followed. Aruki, Onihime, Sir White and Berxp had to leave before the tournament's ending. Saikyo didn't want to win without playing against Jellyheaven (the match was impracticable) and preffered to give the match away.
