Christ, watching that Hisui mirror match makes me wonder what the hell I was on to have lost to Numakie. Next time I better have my head screwed on straight. I was really hoping there was going to be a huge improvement given his placing, but that's clearly not the case. There's still like little to no freaking method to his gameplay at all, guy is still doing j.BB at like the worst spots, ugh. Like at 13:05? What were you thinking guy?

And honestly, in my opinion, Tsubasa is the better Hisui amongst the two. There's an actual semblance of a gameplan going on when he plays. Regardless of him having lost, I don't get that nagging feeling of a chicken running around with its head cut off when I watch him play.

Just doing stuff is a great strategy against people who put figuring out your game over winning.

um, isn't figuring out your opponent's game how you WIN against someone else in the first place?

i mean with that logic you might as well just be smashing your face into the buttons while replacing the the actual stick with one of those little cacti with sunglasses that dance everytime someone nearby makes a sound.

While Numakie's overall strategy may be lacking, his ability to capture and maintain momentum is good- you actually feel pressured by it. That pressure is GREAT at up to mid-level play, and let's face it, we're not Japan yet.  Also, it's not like any of your negative comments are going to influence his gameplay- what sparks an evolution of gameplay is necessity, and until he wins a tournament, I think he knows what he needs to work on. I don't recall Hisui having the personality of a nagging housewife.

He never creates the momentum to begin with. There's no bento set ups, there's no tech punish set ups, no CH set ups, no mix ups, nothing. You could jump straight up or backdash every attempt at momentum the guy's thrown at you in these vids.

And I wouldn't even say he's mid level, because he doesn't even have her BnB down yet, or perhaps he forgot it, or he doesn't feel like doing it sometimes, or he does it at odd points when he could have gone with something far better. I mean that's BEGINNER shit, especially in MB, you can't get anywhere without your character's BnB.

I understand some of my flaws. I luv my tables and random jBB's and i need to set up more bento's/chairs in the field.  I also need to work on some of my ground pressure game.

Numakie plays MB serious enough to win. Chibi plays MB serious enough to...well, whatever it is, it doesn't involve beating other Hisui's or winning money matches at EVO. I guess Chibi plays MB serious enough to complain and hell, we all can do that! HI FIVE MC!
