With the exception of Nerina I don't believe Norcal made top 12. I'm not sure however.

West Toast 9 was totally awesome. I hadn't actually played Melty Blood in real life (since I had just started playing about a week ago), so it was inspiring to see how much better everyone else was. I'm most definitely going to practice up for West Toast X. Props for Senteneru (did I spell that right?) and Soniti for beating me.

Regarding singles tournament, lol @ Hellmonkey getting top 8 and beating/almost beating people that have been playing for a good while compared to him having played the game for about a month.

In any case, I think Nerina made the most money this weekend anyways. His team won Melty Teams, and he got second in MB and GG singles. In the end, the true winner of WT9 was still Nerina. :D

Linalys: kind of sad we had to fight each other to end up going to top 8 :/
Soniti: ggs, and for that battle i name it "those who panic dies!!" match :V we were both panicing in that one haha...
Psyblade: we didnt' really play each other but we got some casuals going, good shit..

Arly: good to see you and haven't got to fight each other for a while but yea we got that match in the end!... hopefully i can make it to WTX

Thanks to Nerina and lina for allowing me to be on their team for the team tourney. Maybe we can work our magic again at WTX. 8) Our team name was kinda funny but it was unique and shows that we all did a fair share of the work.
A special thanks to buzz for being a good sport. I wish it didn't have to turn out like that. <_< But entering as a one man team was pretty epic.
jux: I wish we didn't have to fight each other during the tourney. :\ You put up a good fight and there were a couple of wtf moments.
Psy: We finally get a title for our matches. :toot: The Battle of the Blades is an epic ongoing struggle between two skilled players, neither of which have a distinct advantage over the other. I still feel disappointed knowing that the lag on the setups were holding us back a bit. <.> Hopefully it won't be an issue when WTX is here.
Zaido: Blargh. 2P crossup glitch.....ugh. <.< Great match especially since you stepped it up near the conclusion. Thanks for allowing me to be on your GG team. We did pretty well and I got an OCV along the way. :toot:
kijea: It was a great opportunity to play against you. The team matches from the night before the singles tourney didn't slow you down one bit.
GGs to all whom I played in casuals. It was a lot of fun and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all again at WTX. Let's make it the best WT ever.
