Time: Come around 4:00 PM. All fighters usually arrive around 4:00 PM. We're really flexible on joining time. Last time we started the tournament at 7:00 PM. We had a lot of delays since people were in multiple tournaments as usual, so expect it.
Format: Double elimination singles. Seeded by general skill levels. Best 2 out of 3. for Winners finals, Losers finals, and grand finals are best 3 out of 5.
Stations: Completely dependent on who brings their laptops. However, to get rid of mix ups in the future for converters. Please bring your own. It would be best if you labeled it too.
Venue fee: $8. You only need to pay this once the entire day if you are participating in any tournaments.
Entry fee: $5.

And even if he doesn't come, I'm not THAT good that its a guaranteed 1st place. Vr and Tiamat, i have yet to meet in the tournament, and VR plays Kouma, which can dunk me out of anything. Plus Tornado flame uses Nero, and fighting Nero = >.< always.

Yeah, By the way, I played Arcana Heart recently Nas! The game is broke! The Miko girl has an infinite, and she's not even fun to play as. I don't know what to say about it. The engine seems so slow and I don't like games with infinites.

You'll never land that 'infinite' on someone, and even then you've got BURST to keep it in check.
And technically speaking MB has an infinite as well, but whatever.

Nam and Tiamat...they ain't infinites.. they long ass loops (you know like sidewinder loops like your bro does to me tiamat)... they may seem like they infinites but they aint....
and ehirk i play fiona... so does chibi... but im closer so if you want to play some AH when im down there ill play with ya.. that goes with anybody else... i have some knowledge of Fiona, Kamui (aka katana weilding school girl chick), and Heart.. i can shoot out some basic knowledge if ya'll want..
btw.. shikis will be shanking at this C3... i don't think the turnout will be that bad considering from the GG crew it was really just buri... if tiamat and VR are coming that's pretty much the rest of the GG crew that plays melty ( and pat but i dunno if he's going to SER too)

Okay, that means 200+ hit 100% damage combo of 3 moves looping. :-\
Anyway, regardless if they aren't infinites, or the practicality of the infinites(which apparantly means they don't exist), the game itself feels really slow, which makes me not have fun, and also every character just seems to be a Moe Overload (Fiona(C'mon, Robot Maid KNIGHT?!) and the Witch girl(Meganekko Witch loli) are prime examples), which is fine, but it makes me feel dirty playing it, and thats coming from a guy who plays Melty Blood.
Despite me saying all this, I will play a bit of casuals if someone decides to bring it to c3. I'll have about 2 hours of experience playing it, but whatever. I'll definitely play if someone hosts a donut tourney.
By the way, I recently bought a dreamcast and VO, and I think its the awesomest game ever. I was thinking of bringing both to C3, but then that would mean I'd have to watch both my dreamcast and my laptop, which is simply too much. So, if anyone else wants to play VO and is willing to bring a dreamcast, I will be very happy.

Does anyone remember the Donut tournament we had at C3 like... I want to say, half a year ago, for Hokuto no Ken? What were the circumstances for that to happen? Did a random GGer come across two cases of donuts and decided to give it away through a tournament? Or was it just a random suggestion that spiraled out of control?
The point of all these questions I was too stupid to enter that time around(I was all like, Pfft, I don't want a free donut, donuts are for chumps) and I was kicking myself ever since, and I was wondering what the likelihood would be for there to be a second one, maybe for VO.

Yesterday's tourney was pretty small since the turnout was only about 6 people. And even the 6th person (Twinniss) had to leave early. Basically what happened was that I keyboard crushed, Komag won a box of donuts at the Donut Tourney that never happened and Nas fell asleep in the corner.
Yay for really small round robin >_>
Would have been a lot more interesting with LK, Rei, Tiamat, and any others who didn't show up D':
Hopefully next c3 will be better. With an actual VO donut tourney. VO is pretty damn fun.

Yeah I missed the tourney because I had tons of important stuff to do. This time I was in Culpeper with my father while my Mom (my ride to these tourneys) went to visit my brother at V Tech...
