ALL TOURNAMENT WILL START ON TIME.  DO NOT BE LATE OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO ENTER.

$2 Venue Fee for everyone attending.
$5 per tournament

Rules

This is a BOYC controller event, however controllers will be provided.  You are better off bringing your own stick or controller however.

You must be available to play immediately for your match, especially in Tekken 6 since they are allowing us to have the machine on free play for the duration of the tournament.  It is imperative that there is absolutely NO DOWN TIME ON THE MACHINE so check with me if you need to get food or whatever.  Don't start a MM or anything if you are still in Tekken.  I will let you know if you will be up soon.  All you need to do is ask.

All venue and tournament registration fees must be paid to me directly.

Paul's Arcade closes at 8, so feel free to stick around to play casuals after the tournaments have ended.  There will be a lock-in at the arcade from 8pm until 2am, where all the games in the arcade will be set on free play for just 10 dollars!!!

Stay tuned.  There may be bonus prizes at this tournament.  I'm not sure yet.  The one thing I can promise is there will be candy up the heezy at the tournament.  So come hungry for competition and for dat candy.

There is limited space in the tournament area.  DO NOT BRING A TELEVISION UNLESS I ASK YOU TO BRING ONE.  IF YOU HAPPEN TO BRING ONE AND SET IT UP, AND I ASK YOU TO TAKE IT DOWN, DO NOT LET IT RUIN YOUR ENTIRE DAY AND GO HOME AND START FLAMING ME ON INTERNET FORUMS BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT I HAD MY CRAP TOGETHER AND KNEW WHAT CONSOLES AND TVS WE WOULD HAVE FOR THIS TOURNAMENT WEEKS BEFOREHAND.

Like I said in the results thread, we will have 2 setups running from 1PM until the Melty Blood tournament is over, when it will be down to 1 setup.  Since Nappy may not be able to make it on time, I need a volunteer to bring another PS2 to make this happen!!! So post up if you can bring a PS2, otherwise I'll just have 1 setup all day.


AND STOP BEING ALL QUIET, POST UP IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE IT!!!!!!!

These tournament are held on the same day as the lockins at the arcade so I'm tied to this day, plus I think there will probably be a smash bros tournament in the week before lol.

Edit: There was concern expressed about the console you were playing SF4 on by at least one person. If you wanted, I could bring my Triple. Of course, if most people had sticks made for the 360, it would be sort of pointless.

well the thing is

hmm basicly i'm the organizer but SF4 is being run by another person and since he is in charge of providing the consoles and tvs and all that, he has 360 and decided to run it on 360 but one guy has a converter that lets you use a ps2 controller or joystick on the 360 so it's not really a problem for the most part.

I missed the request for this. I could bring my PS2 and game Syxx, but considering it's an English Slim, it'll need to be ghetto rigged open with paperclips so I can boot Melty with Swap Magic (since I was too cheap to pay the $5 for the extra plastic part).

As a last resort, consider my PS2, Pads, and copy of MBAA game.

fuck swap magic, i have a mod on my memory card that boots games.  I think i'm gonna just get another ps2 memory card so I have one ready to go for the tournament as well as another copy.  I just need the ps2 really.  If you could just bring that, that would be awesome.
