Tentative Streaming Schedule
Keep an eye out for us on justintv.org/toptiergaming
-Each game will be streamed for 50ish minutes depending on setup time for the streaming equipment between games. I'd ideally like to stream each game for an hour, but we're not ninjas who can instant transmission the setup (and we are too poor for one of those setups that can just switch automatically between games).

It's free to enter, but $15 to get into Akicon on Saturday. Entering multiple tournaments is 100% okay.


Rules (Edited):
-Double Elimination
-Two round matches
-Best of three matches
-Grand Finals are best of five, person from loser's bracket must win two sets.
-Loser may change character/ultra/type moon/whatever applies.
-Finals will be on projector.
-Pausing during a match is an automatic loss.
*Auto-punt to loser's bracket, and if you're in losers, you're punted out
*This also applies if you pause during someone else's match
-Macros not already available in the game are banned
-Modding your controller in any way that gives you an unfair advantage is also banned.
-Stay in the area during the tournament (or at least have your phone handy, etc). Three calls total will be made when your match is on board. If you happen to be out of the area, we may let a match go ahead of yours, but we don't have to and reserve the right to DQ you if you're not present when called.
-If you borrow something, do not leave the room with it. Please be respectful with anything you borrow.

Game specific rules:

MBAA:
Archetype:Earth is banned, all others allowed
Winner may not switch moons and must play same character, loser is free to change either/both

BBCS:
DLC characters allowed
Beginner mode is still in the air, probably doesn't matter
Unlimited characters are banned

GGAC:
Extra menu and EX characters are banned
Kliff and Justice are banned
Gold and Black modes are banned

SSFIV:
All characters allowed

2v2 Teams is a possibility.  

*Since this has been brought up, BBCS tournament will be PS3 only.
*Since we didn't get enough 360 setups for Super, Super will also be PS3 only.
*360 setups are perfectly okay for casuals if we have enough space/TVs

So 2 things.

1. I found out that I should be able to bring a Melty setup along with a SSF4 setup (if 360 is okay for it)

and 2. I checked the dustloop thread for the tournament due to lack of updates on melty bread and....... Yea, not too sure if they are still needed. Let me know and I'll post up on dustloop FRC.

A responsible adult must accompany minors 16 years and younger at all
times. The accompanying adult are responsible for the well-being and
behavior of all minors in their care. Children 3 and under get free admission.

Which sucks, but oh hey, I can bring a Melty setup and maybe a SSF4/BBCS setup if you don't mind them being on 360 *shrug* Though I probably won't be able to provide CRTs.
