All fighters arrive at 4:00 PM. Hopefully this wont end at 12:00 AM like the last 2 times.
Good news! Smash SHOULD be ending at 6:00 PM instead of 11:00 PM thanks to some people taking action for the atrocity of ending THAT late at the last tournament.
Stations: For all of the tournaments there have been 2 Stations. Nam's Laptop and mine. Feel free to bring more.
Venue fee:$8. You only need to pay this once the entire day if you are participating in any tournaments.
Entry fee for Melty Blood: $5.
Note: Stick players, both me and Nam each have ONE Pelican and a Radioshack converter. If you somehow don't have a pelican to use in tourney, tough luck, you should bring your own. So no complaining about controller lag :D

In all honesty, the tourney was so late, we kinda needed the 2 dollar incentive to get people to play.
Though, if there's going to be teams, let us choose our own partner. Its fine if your teammate can pull his own weight, but that was not the case for most people. Is it fair to have the skilled player *coughlordknightcough* need to OCV everyone because he was rolled with a guy entering simply because the fee was 2 dollars, not really knowing how to play?

you should do $5 entry cause this is a side game for most ppl and you'll get more entrants than if you do $10
I think you should alternate between teams and singles for each C3...or at least I think that's a good idea myself (meaning this one would be singles)

Okay, even though the argument that provoked this post was settled, and I am running the risk of reviving it, I'm just so curious if Zar is actually going to follow through with this in the next C3.
Also, depending on how my workload ends up around that time and how merciful my Japanese mom (Which for those who never experienced one, love kids who study and never leave the house) is, I may not be able to make it to c3. I really want to, simply because I want this month to be the month that Virginians actually win the tourney they host, but sadly school has greater priority than Melty Blood Tournaments. Like, If School did a 236 c homework attack, and even if Melty blood did a Volcanic Viper, which, by the way, is from a completely different game, School would still win. It just has that much priority.

I'm not sure if I posted my philosophy on money matches before, but I dunno, I don't like them very much. Maybe its because I take everyone seriously all the time, but I don't' need money to be on the line to try my best. Plus I really don't have an income which I can readily bet money on the outcome of a match against a single opponent.

I'm sorry they decided to come when school started? Its not like I don't want to come. As a matter of fact, an in person meeting would be good because it makes their online names without faces into real people, which, for some reason, makes it hard to have a spite filled rage toward. I'm not sure why.
Also, its not like I'm not trying to do everything in my power to make it. I've already started homeworks whose due dates aren't even assigned yet, just so I can make it. There's a problem, my laptop is currently getting fixed (again, and if it doesn't work I get a replacement that's worth around $1300 at Best Buy, which is about 200 times better than what it currently is), however, if Azen shows up for Smash, he might join in the Melty Blood action and let us use his laptop. I'll still bring converters. People bring your stuff. Now if we have to, we could also play on the PS2 even though there are some differences... It's still better than nothing.

I got like 3 questions out of 23 done, which is kinda bad, but I attempted 6 others, so thats what I'm going to say, "A good start". If I do go, I can give people rides who are relatively close to Falls Church High School or anywhere along Route 50.
If azen enters I want to see how good his Arc is. (Azen's Growth rate in games is ridiculous. He's like the Ichigo, but with a controller instead of a sword, and he's just good at pressing buttons really precisely timed.)

hey ehrik, reloy/leroy here. same situation happened to me. i came to c3 played some casuals. couldn't stay since i had to go to dinner. learned a lot from the few matches against Zar, really wish i could have played in the tournament.
apparently the tournament started right when i finished dinner, i thought about coming back, but i was too full and too sleepy (steak+lots of meat = food coma). that and i have horrible driving skills :( that and i wouldn't make it back to c3 in time and i'll just be holding back the whole tournament.
