I probably won't make it in time for the singles melty tourney, maybe teams tourney (unless it turns out like last time, which it probably will) since I have a memorial service to go to in the morning through till a little past lunchtime.

SnR DUO sounds good. I'm sticking with Sakurako-A (I don't care if she sucks)x Dixie (SakuDix ftw)

I also might bring an acquaintance of mine who doesn't know jack squat about melty or even GG for that matter, but he's interested in going. He's a pretty chill guy, so I hope that's alright.

I tried adding this event to the calendar on the front page, but I could not find an actual venue for it. I'm probably blind as it's probably mentioned somewhere in this thread but... geez. Please make things a bit more clear.

Edit: I'm planning on reserving a hotel across from the University.  People who are traveling from afar could come there to crash while I run the final logistics/management 101/setups situation.  As for 5v5, here are my propositions:
1) Take the top 5 seeds in NorCal/SoCal based on ranbats.
2) Do another tournament on Friday.  Seeding given out.
3) Do five separate brackets for each 5v5 slot.
4) Top two/three seeds get in the 5v5, while everybody else dukes it out.
5) Random select.

I'm going to make a brand new thread with Minor INSTALL~~~~~~~~~~~~! Just fyi, the tournament in the works. There is still loads of things to get done:

- Confirmation of classroom reservation
- Confirmation of the following sponsors: Madcatz, IPW, Brokentier.com, Aksys
- TVs & PS2s
- LCDs & PS3s
- Station management/setups
- etc.

Also, streaming will be provided by IPW. The only catch is that there is a small streaming fee of $2-$3, but he'll handle all streaming and advertisement for us. If you can't afford $2, then you need to rethink your life and live in a bucket.

Nothing is finalized yet.  But when they are, I suggest you make this date available for extraordinary hype.
