American Melty is a fine gathering at my house where people drink, play poverty games, watch anime and Youtube, go out to eat Korean BBQ, and maybe even play Melty Blood. It is a fairly exclusive gathering where I ask people I know to come. It really isn't open to the public. If I haven't talked to you personally at some point either IRL or on the Internet you probably can't come. If I invite you and you haven't talked to me or aren't on good terms with me, I'm probably trolling you.
This time there will be a $5 cover charge for booze and snacks. The official dates are Friday to Sunday, 2/19/2010 - 2/21/2010, but people can (and probably should) start coming on Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th to save on airfare and have more fun. Xie and/or Spidey and probably (?) house people if needed for whatever reason. Please arrive via SNA airport in John Wayne as it is substantially easier to coordinate pickups.
Since the last AM I've changed both the upstairs and downstairs renters. The upstairs one should be out of the house on the weekend and the downstairs one has been warned and is cool with the proceeding, so there shouldn't be any issues/conflicts like a certain other incident.
There isn't going to be more than a certain number of people allowed (probably 25ish). Here's who's interested so far.

Money is most likely not going to be the issue. My laziness combined with not being 100% sure I can get the days off from work yet combined with my laziness are the big stoppers. Bell not saying I can go yet is but a minor inconvenience since I could easily get smuggled in through luggage. Also where I live any plans in February are always susceptible to random blizzard xx hailstorm locking all roads and other means of travel down.

February is still a ways off. If I feel comfortable with stick (Hung up the pad after NEC), and I'm good for money at the time and the Mizuki Motel is open I'll be happy to go. I try to make it to every melty tournament, but of course coming from NJ there are issues since it'll probably be WC, right?
If I can go, I will go. If Xie, Lolisauce, Miz, bell and all of you guys came out here, than the least I can do is sit in a plane for 17 hours.

At this point evo is more of a priority for me than AM6, so I'm gonna be saving up with the intent of using the money for evo expenses. I'll only go to AM6 FOR SURE if something happens that places more money in my hands than expected, but for now I'm gonna say don't put me on that list

Another thing, for anyone planning to fly in, please remember to fly in to SNA which is closest to Xie/Spidey. Also please try to arrive early morning or later at night to avoid traffic, and coordinate times with other people if you can.

My memory is really bad so I honestly don't recall who you are, but if you plan to come please talk to jiyuna, Nas, and Tinshi in coordinating arrival times. It would make things much easier for everyone travelling.

Bell, just to make sure, is it okay if I bring 3 total with me? One is Prinny (which you already know about coming), the other two are my best friend Adonis (aka Level 0, potentially best F Kouma in the west) and his brother Joenell (who plays C w.Len but still has a lot of learning to do). I know them all very well so I can vouch for them being respectful and cleanly.

some people already asked me about rides from the airport to bells, while normally this wouldnt be an issue i know work from 11-8pm and i have yet to ask for that friday off (which is all i am going to ask for).
that said it might be best to ask xie to take you to bells if he can, but he works now also so i dunno.
if i get friday off i can take anyone to bells thursday night, if i dont then i can take anyone to bells friday night. but thats all i can do right now...sorry :'(

bell, I think Jux (if you remember him) might want to come and I told him to post in this thread but it seems he hasn't due to a heavy work schedule and classes. So if possible, list him as a maybe.
I think we should discuss equipment and how many setups there will be somewhere in the OP? Considering the number of people attending, more = better?
I have a small 12-13" tv, light and easy to carry + PS2. I think Choco will probably bring one of his TVs + PS2 as well. Might need a table or something for these additional setups.

Hi bell, I'd like to mention that I am the aforementioned Adonis (no pun intended, lol) and my younger brother is Joenell. Thanks for making room for us, I understand how it's incredibly crowded due to how hype AM is. I'm speaking (on the phone) with Lolisauce right now, and we'll be bringing two setups.
