See everyone, or not, at AX!

I plan on stealing the prizes at the 9AM (LOLZ) No external sticks (LOL) MBAC tourney they're having assuming it doesn't get cancelled for lack of participants.  I wonder why it would have trouble getting enough people?

night have trouble with participants probably cuz its so damn early

but yeah, hopefully we won't get seeded together early lina

I was being sarcastic, I know exactly why it will have trouble (IMO) getting the 10 people minimum to hold the tournament.

But wow, you're entering?  It suddenly got that much harder to win.

Anyone not at AX and going tomorrow, get their EARLY.

A friend of mine was in line for 4 hours before she got her badge.  I was there from 9 'til 11, and only got through half of the line.  Had to leave since I had crap to do, but even if I sat through it 'til I had to go (latest at 1) I wouldn't of even got it.

Fuck their reg line.  Pre-reg in line for only an hour?  wtf-ever.

Just a heads up, if you happen to find Dom (of Megatokyo fame) he should be playing BBB at the press table ;3. He was also kind enough to promise to purchase any Hisui merchandaise he may come across, if any and then send to me~

Console tournament was pretty bad due to the various circumstances (tv lag, forced to use crap controllers, etc).

Videos:

Scott vs. Me
linalys vs. Jux
s0ma vs. Kozu
Me vs. Jux (Winners Finals)
Linalys vs. Jux (Losers Finals)
Me vs. Jux (Grand Finals)

I was hoping to get to play linalys during the tournament but did not get the chance. Hopefully I get to play Arlieth/linalys some time during this con.

Looks like I missed it. But given the horrible conditions, I can't say that I'm sorry I did. :-\

Who cares if you didn't face me in tournament?  You played me in casuals didn't you?

I was thinking to myself "this guy isn't your average player..." before I saw your badge >_>

I only got to play Arlieth a few times on the arcade. It would be awesome to play him on console with our own sticks.

Did Mailorder, Jaxx and vmoney not enter the tournament? Or did they get knocked out really early due to it being a PAD TOURNAMENT :D?

I played Mailorder and vmoney in some casuals some time after the tourney.  Also Vmoney, you MUST STOP PLAYING WARC NOW, since I beat you on pad, with input lag.  :teach:.  I just wish the stick in the arcade would stop shielding when I try to dash.

Jaxx and Vmoney didn't enter.  They were busy taking care of S.K.I.N. tickets.  I came late, but I managed to replace someone who left in the loser's bracket.  Won my first loser's bracket match, lost the second one to a mediocre Kouma.  I hate to make excuses and say I would have slaughtered this guy if I had my stick, but oh well.  I lost, but I had a good time.

Congrats to Magz for winning!  I managed to snag a few games with him at the arcade a few times - his Satsuki is definitely not to be taken lightly.  Pretty much killed me.

If the random Nor Cal dudes I played (one of them had a name that ended in -deux)  are reading this, keep playing MB : )

Also... Scott and Leo, you two are very pleasant drunks!  I plan to drink (ha ha) with you two as often as possible.

If by pwn you mean lose in the first round in the GG tourney then yes  :psyduck:  Seriously though that force break really caught me by surprise the first time.

I made a couple of different trips to the console room and there was no MB or GG. But there were THREE setups dedicated to Naruto games. wtf  >:(

Naruto tourney was today right?  There were 2 gg's set up yesterday.  I guess they play favorites to the tourney of that day.

Fuck, everyone complains so much about the console gaming room that it will cease to exist.

To all who I played, thanks for the matches. Mailorder Melissa, Zantua, Drunken Leo, and Scott.

MTP: Don't forget Kouma masher!

I'm sad that the MB setup disappeared after the first day (first hour after tourney finished?), I left after I got eliminated and never saw MB on that tv ever again.

GGs to all I played.

MTP: Sorry, I complained way too much about the setup. It was probably out of your control anyways.

I had a great time laying Leo at the arcade on Sunday. Learned some new stuff as well. I hope to see you all at WT5.
