MTP: Don't forget Kouma masher!

Oh yeah, that guy. He found the secret to being top tier in MB: Mash 2A and hit confirm combos from it.

But yeah, some memorable (not really) quotes from faggets in the console gaming room:
Loser 1: When's the HnK tournament starting?
Staff: It's cancelled.
Loser: Why?
Staff: Only 3 people entered.
Loser: So when does it start?

Loser 2: You guys aren't being professional. You should be staffing instead of playing video games. Go play video games at home.

Loser 1 actually stirred up a shitload of trouble but that's another story.

Unknown Akiha vs. Kozu (anyone got a name?)

That was me  :P.

Sorry I haven't quite introduced myself on the bread quite yet. Long time reader and lurker pretty much. I started playing MBAC roughly at the start of the year. Wasn't a big buff of fighting games prior, but this game's awesomeness eventually made me think about learning the game and getting a stick.

AX overall was pretty fun, despite a lot of setbacks (I guess it's on how you look at it?)

Good games to everyone, especially linalys who handed me my ass with Miyako  ;D. I hope I won't be too lurk too much on the forums in the future and be anti-social in real life, cause it'd be cool to meet and befriend people in the scene.

And boo, I didn't know that there was a cab in the arcade, or else I'd have hit it up :(. Oh well, maybe next year.

The arcade was where all my MB games took place.  Nothing is funnier then getting 19+ wins against random people and trading back and forth with mainly Leo and others.

Wish there were more people who joined the arcade scene. The controls were a little less then subpar though but that didnt stop me =P

not you, (no homo).

i'm talking about the real melissa who had a Hisui&Kohaku strategy and stuck to it the entire match, wasnt much of a masher. her haruhi cosplay was nice, for extra points.

But... she still lost her first match?  If she were a dude, would you still be giving her props?

But now that you mention that she did a Haruhi cosplay, I wish I saw it : (  I would have given her props for sure

Wait what?  Are you saying there was a Kohaku/Hisui player, who was not only decent at Melty Blood, cosplayed as Haruhi, and was a girl?  How in the name of God was I able to miss such a person?

Yeah it was a fucking blast having the CEO of the con come get angry with us. You know, instead of handling the problems with SOS Brigade going over by 3 hours.

Moving it to LACC is one of the worst things they could possibly do. I've commuted to it almost every day before. See the sincerity in my CAPS. IT'S FUCKING HORRIBLE! Add to the fact that LA parking sucks in general and there's hardly any lodging nearby. It would not be in their best interest to move it there.

Fortunately they are aware that lots of people didn't like LBCC so they have 12 months to turn this around.

Long Beach wasn't that bad...

I don't see the need for changing venues again 2 years in a row. I'm assuming all the mishaps at Long Beach this year are due to staff being out of the groove of being around the Anaheim Convention Center. I'd only see the experience at LBCC improving if they kept at it like they did with Anaheim.

All of the mishaps go a lot further than venue issues. LA wouldn't be any better than LBCC though. I think it's just a debate whether we stay at LBCC or go to LACC though.

Yeah seriously, what was wrong with Anaheim? I was told that since ACC was booked this year so they moved the location instead of the date. Do they not realize that even if they move the date people will still make time to attend regardless? :\

My main reason I was pissed of at the AX gaming staff is that they had a limit on how many people can play in a tourney.
IT WAS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have an offer that you CANT understand.

Didn't it have something to do with the contract running out for this year and AX got outbidded?
