I don't see one valid reason as to why you didn't attend.
You created the damn series of tournaments, held seven of them in a row, and with the last hurrah you simply decide not to show up?
Why? Don't tell me you didn't enjoy the past seven tournaments, that'd be a lie.
Don't tell me you weren't surprised by the people that ended up attending, because that'd also be a lie.
It helped create a community in NYC with plenty of new faces.
All in all it was a resounding success.
So even when you knew it was the last one, why wouldn't you show up? I can't even FATHOM what you did on Saturday that would have been more enjoyable and a better outing, I really can't.
And fuck, I may be the loudest guy in the community, but you'll be hard pressed to find someone who thinks I don't love this game to death.

Maybe I'm missing something, but don't we still got NEC9 to go till we can go off saying a farewell to MBAC? Unless we're gonna have a MBAA Theory Fighter edition tournament at NEC9 Undecided The way things are looking now we (the people who are going to NEC who lives in the middle of nowhere and/or don't live near arcades that are getting MBAA) are not gonna be playing MBAA before NEC9.
This is just a local thing, I'll still be hype for MBAC at NEC9, and I'll practice up for it as well, but 'when' CF gets MBAA in, MBAC is effectively dead to our local community.
