This is completely untrue. No offense.

BBG is it's own beast. It's more important than every tournament except the rare shot MBAA got at Evo2010. Even more than NEC. I've never had more fun at a tournament than I do at BBG's. It's outside, and it's MB only. I won't bring up it's history as the birth of the melty community because I wasn't there to see it, but anyone can say it's a vital part of this community's history and if you're an active player that hasn't gone, and you can go, you should go.

BBG's are few and far between because of the extreme hassle it takes to set them up, but you get people like Xie who flew in from California almost two years back just to goto BBG and I doubt he regretted it.

BBG is not just another tournament. Plain and simple.

In the first post is where it was stated, but I really need some Melty go try & fix my craving. Not being able to play any of my favorite games is crappy especially living in a state where it's either play Super of MvC3, which are both

to me, but I actually can "enjoy" Super just because it's active. But if it were up to me, I'd play Melty, 3s, CvS2, and GG.

just come if you can, if you can't it's understandable my good sir... BBG's even though the most poverty of tourneys (i mean this thing started by a fucking snapple machine) it's prolly one of the most fun tourneys out there for me...so i try to come anytime they have one

If I recall there should be a small "inn" a few blocks away from the gazebo. If anyone wants to get in on that contact the VA/MD people because they were the ones who got the rooms last time.

In other news, everyone try to get everyone else to come to this. I don't want this to be the last BBG, but if there arent enough people then theres no point in trying despite everyones "good" intentions.

Honestly, I'm tired of stream monstering & I just wanna get in there & play. That's why I'm doing everything in my ability right now to come.

i doubt though BBG's is the ultimate of poverty so chances are they no stream i mean are doing this in a gazebo in columbus aka in the middle of chinatown lol in open area

The main problem right now is that we won't know the final date until we actually get the permit, the city is known to give you a different date randomly if someone else has that day reserved
