Evolution 2010 at Ceasar's Palace in Vegas [July 9-11th, 2010]

Date's fine and it'll be a possibility for me to take leave and not get chair forced (I'll be back in the US) so regardless if this game is a official game or not I'll try my hardest to be there.

I'll obviously be there.  Ceasar's Palace is a good casino, but I've never been to the hotel.  It should be pretty nice though.

As usual, I'll be opening up my home for free housing during the event.  I can hold a good amount of people, but I can only transport 4 other people to-and-from the event in a single trip.  I would like to avoid having to take multiple trips, so unless I have someone staying here that is driving up, no more than 4 people can stay at my place.  Spooky already has dibs on one spot.

Pros of staying in the Lolihouse:
-Free housing
-Cheap food
-Free internet
-Hanging out with me

Cons:
-Not being in house at the event (15 minute drive away)
-I live with my brother (cool) and mother (not cool), but this shouldn't be an issue
-My car doesn't have air conditioning (I'll prolly get this fixed before summer hits next year though)

Okay, does anyone who's driving up want to stay at my place?  Otherwise I'll have to decline a couple of people and I feel bad.  lol.  I have the space for it, with a guest room with 2 beds and floor space, couches and sofa chair in the living room, and even some floor space in my room.  I can prolly fit around 8 people in my place without being uncomfortable, I just don't have transportation for more than 4 without an extra car.

Bus transportation is...not recommended for anyone looking to stay at my place.  It's expensive and would prolly take around an hour to get to Ceaser's Palace (Is it bad if I call it CP for short? ) even though it's only like a 15-20 minute drive.  It's a lot cheaper than a cab, but still...you'd prolly be better off sharing a room with someone on location.

Something else to note, if any others want to stay at my place and nobody has a car, a viable option would be to pool together a small amount of money to rent a car for the weekend.  Car rental isn't too expensive, especially when it's split four ways.  I can definitely look into prices and whatnot for anyone who's interested.  Just give me a head's up.

I know AZ will be taking at least one car up. If we count GG/BB players, we may have three cars in all. Probably one car filled with Melty people. Let's hear hotel prices first.

Ugh, hope I can secure the time off to go to Evo this year. It's a big priority this time.

Just throw in the dates your interested in, Caesar's Palace @ Las Vegas. Note that the prices they give you may or may not be final, since a) Evo might have a discount available and b) we don't know which rooms will be discounted

But its good to know that it has some poverty rooms($150) available incase you're penny pinching to make the trip possible

P.S.: I already have someone I'm rooming with, so I won't be doing the poor rooms this time around. If you guys want to arrange something like that you'll have to do it on your own lol

Hotel prices have dropped a lot with the recession.  They'll be reasonable, as Xie showed.

Bell, don't antihype evo!  A crazy showing and mad hype could make the game for us this year, now that we're actually getting some positive reception in the larger fighter community.
