So uhhh...who exactly is moderating the MB tournament for this?? I'm willing to step up to organize this if I can get help from some of the more experienced moderators of the community (i.e. makotofox & zaelar if they will be present).

If this has already been covered I would like to throw out a few suggestions for the event such as:

Stages Banned
[Ban "Field" Stages please]
Classic (shiki)
Witch on the Holy Night (aoko)
fateful show down (??)
...and nothing heart (ryougi)

The first three stages listed above have foreground grass effects that may "mask" the actions of "certain characters" giving said characters an edge when used on those stages (these stages or effects were removed in CC altogether iirc). The last stage has been confirmed to produce frequent lag and the community usu. votes against using Ryougi stage in competitive play.

10$ = srsbns MB tourney imo. Up the win count for Winners/Losers/Grand Finals and get fools to put in work for that guap.

For the 3-4 people who wanted to room with me (PMs/otherwise) I regret to say thanks to this Wachovia/Wells Fargo buyout thing some of the money I was counting on got delayed (I was going to receive a check, but because my account wasn't "active" with Wells Fargo, it got sent back, and it'll be ~3 weeks before I get it). So, I won't have enough money to reserve the room for Winter Brawl (I may not even have enough money to go).

So unfortunately, since I can't confirm I will definitely have it now, I want to give you guys as much time to search for another room. I may still get a room, but I don't want anyone uncertainly counting on it. Sorry guys.

Is the MBAA singles tournament going to be on Sunday like at NEC? As it is I think I'll just watch the team games Saturday, but if for whatever reason they decide to have singles Saturday I'd register.
