WE'RE BACK! It's time to announce the Biggest tournament on the east coast is back for another year! We got a brand new site for FR13. Goto the link to the the official dates of each game played at FR13 and rules. I'm trying to get FR more professional than previous years to get some sponsership hopefully.
http://www.finalround.org/We will have an early bird online prepay preregistry ready by 8-1-09 for those that like to pay in advance. This will help us have more accurate #'s of how many truely plan to attend this event. For those that aren't sure that you'll beable to make it we will have the regular pre-reg list also. As always don't pre-reg if you aren't able to attend. We want to have the brackets completed the week before the event for every tournament.
We will accept walk up's to FR13 like always, but I advise everyone to prepay online so all you have to do is walk in and grab your badge and have fun at FR13. Prepay pre-reg also speeds up the sign in process and the bracket making process at the event so we can start ON TIME!!!!!!!
There will be no pre-reg in this site. The only way you can pre-reg is to do it on the FR13 site. Prepay and unsure pre-reg will start August 1, 2009 on the FR13 site. Everyone that pre-pays will be put in our database and placed in the brackets of each game they are competing in 1st. Then all of the unsure pre-reg will be put in the database as stand by untill they confirm they are coming. Getting everyone in the database is key to making the brackets early so bare with me please.
This will help the process of signing in at the event 100X faster imo. I want things to run fast so if there is a request for a side tournament MAYBE it can happen. The only way I would allow extra side tournament in the ballroom is if the majority of the main events are near completed or wouldn't slow down the main tournaments.
So it's on once again! Let the hype begin!
The Japanese PS2 version of Melty Blood: Actress Again will be used.
* The Original balance settings will be used.
* Default settings (except for quick restart and handicap being disabled).
* All characters are allowed except Archtype:Earth.
* Bring your own stick or pad.
* Free character selection by default; blind pick can be requested by either player.
* Player side (1P/2P) is to be determined by a coinflip upon request. No switching for the duration of the match
* Shower or bathe before the tournament.
* You can change your character at any time except when you just won a game (and, of course, mid-game/between rounds).
* All multi-button marcos
1v1:
* Double elimination bracket.
* Two out of three games for most tournament games.
* Three out of five for winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals.
2v2:
* Teams are to be composed of exactly two people.
* Single elim bracket.
* [[Depending on the number of entries]] I would like to divide the teams into 3 single elim brackets. The winners of each bracket would do a 3 team round robin final.
* Players are free to select any tournament-legal character and mode they wish at any time, regardless of what their partner is using.
* The format for the tournament is commonly known as "Waseda", where each person on the team plays one person on the other team. If both players on a team win, they advance to the next round. If the teams split the games, the winners of the first two games play each other to determine the winner of the set. (aka: A1vA2, B1vB2, winner of A v winner of B (unless they are on the same team))
* All sets out of the team tournament are only one game.
* If both teams can decide on initial match-ups, then they can be used. If no agreement can be made, a blind draw will be used.
