Okay, so you may have noticed there is no Melty Blood up there in the Tournament Games section. This is because at the moment, it's only a side game for casuals. This has the opportunity of becoming a true Melty Blood Tournament, but it will need some commitment. I've already been contacted by the tournament organizer to run a dedicated Melty setup, so this is something confirmed.

Southern California is close. 6 hours is close, and the Megabus goes from LA to Phoenix. NorCal people can ride to SoCal then Phoenix. If you hadn't guessed, I'm inviting all the people from SoCal/NorCal and anywhere close to AZ to chime in on the Devastation thread and ask/demand for an official Melty tournament. If it is not official and I get enough signups, I will hold a side tourney for the game regardless.

ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED: Visit the Devastation 2008 Shoryuken.com Forum Thread and post your interest for Melty Blood. I'm sure that with enough out-of-state people committing to this, we can make the Melty community even stronger, especially since I plan on advertising the fact that I will be importing an arcade copy of Actress Again at our setup.

There are a couple of people who dislike me a lot, people I haven't met in person. Sounds about the same as, say, SoCal Melty players, except I have met them. But I was contacted to run MB at the tourney by the organizer, so hey, I'm on decent terms with someone.

I missed out on playing the AZ crew in December sadly. This tourney is the weekend of my birthday and I'd like to attend but my family might have plans for me already. I'll see what I can do. Not to mention, WTX is the week after and I somehow get the feeling that even though they're not the same dates, they're close enough that they might pose a bit of a problem.
