Hey all, as i posted before in the -Northern California: Sacramento Community- thread, the group i'm with has been able to organize a tournament outside of our soon to be scheduled meetings.
it'll be on
September 2nd which is about 3 weeks from now located in Sacramento, CA. and although the time has not been given yet for our tournament, it is clearly stated on the main site that
all video game tournaments will begin after 11am so please try to reach the center before then, k? the driving directions can be located on this site

we are hoping to be able to host ver.B however it all depends if a kind provider that we have contacted will be able to come through and bring an S-Video compatible television that day. otherwise if not we will be using the PS2 version of Melty Blood.
i dont know of any registration fees yet, so ill update the information as this comes along. (but last time we held it, it was $3 which is not expensive at all, and if your wondering half of the money heads back into the convention to support them, or something like that :3 while the other is to support the people who brought out all their equipment and lent out their stuff to the staff for a day.)
please come and sign up! the more supporters we get for the tournament the better, the more people who sign up the higher chance we're allowed to put up the melty blood booth at the next convention. (over things like naruto, yay!)
if you require any additional information feel free to PM me, or simply post in this topic. ill try to reply as soon as i can.
ive gotten some new information.since it's a relatively small tournament (unless we can get some expectations blown away *HINT HINT*)
were shooting for 2:30~3PM. timeslot.
the registration fee for the tournament is $3, $1 is going to the hosts, the rest gets gobbled by the con.
registration for the con is $5 with a printout coupon from their site.
http://www.sacramentocomics.com/pages/coupon.html follow the directions on this link.
looks like things as of now (August 31) are going smooth and as planned, so expect a successful setup. the only real issues are variable factors such as the location itself. the con is highly unorganized up untill the last day, so thats our only real worry at this point. and even if that occurs we do have a backup plan.
