Sac-con Melty blood tournament "Regular Scuffle Hum - Plastic Cup"

The tournament was fun for meeting people and playing some games, but quite honestly I have to give it a NEVER AGAIN rating due to time restraints, PART OF THE POT GOING TO THE CON OWNER, and generally shitty rules due to said time restraints.  Con owner can go fuck himself, honestly.  Also, DDR players are otaku faggots that can go fall into a meat grinder. 

Pretty much what I thought. Getting there around 11...100+ degrees outside. 50+ people inside, no AC, no drinks allowed (WTF mate)...and of course all that topped off by a DDR tournament made for a rather straining atmosphere. Now don't get me wrong, DDR is fine...but when it's already that stuffy inside, looking back and seeing a FAT POWER RANGER sweating on them pads can be a bit upsetting.

Aside from that, games were fun. The look on mags face when people told him about the character lock was priceless. Blank stare for about 10 seconds then "oooooh". Good stuff =)

yeah, no drink policy was like "the fuck is wrong with you?" it was 100 outside, give us a break. Overall it was fun, and it was great meeting a lot of you. Con was overall crap, well atleast it wasn't worth the 2 hour drive, and the place smelled like dick cheese marinated in ass, but the tournament was well worth it.

i fucking missed every bit of the legendary action! everytime i was talking to the director of the game room i would suddenly hear 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH' and by the time i turn around to see its over. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKME >_<

by the way, i have been thinking a bit and have a proposal. when magz invited us to go down to SJ to play, i thought that it was a pretty good idea. in fact, it lead to another idea. i think we should rotate these little tournaments so that you guys (the SJ and  bay people) have to drive all the way to sacramento all the time. instead, we can rotate where to hold these things so it would be more fair for you guys (and your car/gas). so if the SJ guys would like to hold the thing on the 22nd at SJSU, im down for it (given the fact that we're gonna need 2 drivers if we take everyone that showed up to the con).

Thought what was fine?  The tournament?  The con?  If you're talking about the tournament, then your standards are pretty low.   It was fun, but I'd say it was a waste of time for the most part for the people that came from the bay area/drive 2+ hours here for a bad tournament.  Again, it's no one's fault except for con owners due to time restraints that the format was so poor.
