OK so things have gone down the shitter quite hard recently. The area's best player quit on everyone (who claims personal reasons), and who was considered to be the second best player failed to finish top three over on the west coast, finishing behind an Arc who has to use 3B to get any damage. There's no hype (Arcana Heart has more mindshare with the hardcore set despite having a much smaller scene due to raw hype and the work of a couple of notable people), no support (local players are too busy fighting amongst themselves and leaving for other games to try to get any new players), and no drive (the level of play is the same as it was six months ago, and that is not a good trend).
Even with all that, the beat goes on and the game rolls on, because we don't know what else to do. So here it is.
Also lawl at DSP still not even acknowledging the game's existence and Zaeler not putting this thread up even though he's 'hype' about the game (maybe he remembered he just ran good and everyone else here sucks).

Doors open at 12, casuals until 3. Tournament signups are from 1:30 until 2:30, and all tournaments are scheduled to start at 3 PM. Standard rules (2/3 rounds 2/3 games 3/5 for winners final, losers final, grand finals), bring your own stick or pad, we're playing on the PS2 because we're ghetto (the PC version will
not be out by then, ship that), and don't act stupid. Also sickness and rank odor are banned so don't bring that shit.
Games will still be recorded (hopefully I don't get overly emo again and actually bother putting them up!). Zar will not be at this event (because he's busy with school... on a Saturday
) and neither will Master Chibi (he'll be too busy touring Toronto's finest maid cafes... fucker).
