Notes:
-Any money matches will take place before Tournament start. For time constraints, MMs are limited to a race-to-five format.
-Double Elim, 2/3 Matches. Character switching is allowed(Standard rules; Winner in a set cannot change characters).
-Top 8 will be recorded with Commentary.
-Other stuff if I remember.

From the schedule I put together, we depart from SJ on saturday morning, arrive in the afternoon in LA, and then take the instructions in arlieth's guide to get to IF.
I don't know about the others, but Tsubasa and I will leave almost right after the tournament finshes (7am is the only megabus back to SJ on Sunday).

Woo hoo! Money matches! I want a mirror money match w/ anyone who plays WArc, WLen, or Kouma. $5 to $10 and first to 2 or 3 (your choice) for as long as my money lasts. I'll also accept money matches from anyone who doesn't COMPLETELY out-class me (so take it as a huge complement if I don't accept). Unfortunately, my mom's out of the country for a while so I have to buy my own groceries meaning I don't know exactly how much money I'll have for this. I'll just have to prioritize the matches in order of which they were offered and appearance at WT7. It's been a while since I actually played mbac, but I would love to come. Seeing I have more free time nowadays, would love to improve my game, try to actually play competitively and get involved with the mb scene in southern cali.

The plan I had was that we didn't have to "stay over" anywhere. This is also important because I can't leave on friday and I have to be back before monday (same thing for Tsubasa I'd assume).

My plan is I might bring my friend with me, she is a girl, something which maybe foreign to 5/6 of the people at WT. I will be getting a room with her at the end of the night cuz we will want sleep. If she doesn't go I'll probably go to Arly's place and Sakura-plushie can have her revenge and maybe hang Arly this time.

I have enough vacation time to come out there on Friday and stay through Saturday. I'm seriously considering it. I'll discuss things with the local crew, maybe see if we can room with some NorCal people if anyone but Jaxx and I decide to come as well. Three or four people coming = driving instead of Megabus,

I start Foothill on the 24th as well but with two ~6hour bus trips, I think I can manage to get most of the homework I get assigned done during those trips along with naptime. You also get Friday night and Sunday night still I suppose. But then again you're probably going to spend some time commuting from Davis to the Megabus.

Bingo. I'd end up getting a train Friday Night or something then waiting till morning for the bus. The train would be a 3 hour trip from Davis, and I'd have nowhere to really "stay" till then.
Also, I'm not sure if I'd be done moving into my apartment then.

On a serious note I guess we should really get a head count of everyone who's confirmed to go so far, though the tourney is still a ways away, it never hurts to be prepared.

As for the rest of the Norcal "crew", all I've heard so far is speculation so I'll hold off before throwing any more names up on the list. It seems that Magz has stepped up to the task of organizing this little Megabus trip (If I'm wrong about this feel free to correct me) so he might have a better idea of where people stand that haven't yet posted here.

Please check the West Toast Travel Guide again, I've updated it with some new information.
There's a FlyAway bus that travels from around Family Fun Arcade (Van Nuys basically) to LAX. From there, there's another shuttle that's about 20-40 minutes away to Union Station. Each leg of the journey is $4, so from Van Nuys to Union Station is $8. The Van Nuys FlyAway is only 20 minutes away from Interface, making it a viable drive for me (+ one other person if necessary) to drop everyone off. We would have to take the 4:30 am bus to guarantee departure at Union Station by 7:00 am.

So far, Jaxx and Q-Chu say they want to make a day trip out of this. Meaning, take the megabus there at 7 AM, take the megabus back at 7 AM the next day and come home.
Problems I have with this: Transportation (Arly's car can hold five people including him) ... will there be room for NorCal and AZ? It doesn't seem like it. If there's more than two AZ people going, I'd like to take our own vehicle to ensure we can, you know, go places >_> Relying on someone else for a ride is not nice, for the ride giver or taker.
Lodging: They probably plan on staying up all night or something like that... I don't know for sure. Because I'm stubborn due to my past failures, I'm not going to WT if I can't be guaranteed at least a little sleep (and I couldn't sleep on the megabus last time at all), meaning I'd like to say at least one comfortable night/day with free transportation while in SoCal, meaning Friday night Motel6 and staying up all night and getting on the bus at 7 AM.
Thoughts? I'd like Jaxx and Q-Chu to comment as well if they can.

Okay NorCal peeps who are taking Megabus, I got my friend's portable DVD player. Lasts 3.5 hours. My laptop can last 3 hours if on the stamina setting. I think we are safe in terms of entertainment.

You SoCal/AZ fools should come to the next big NorCal tourny. We had 22 locals at the last one and that only constitutes slightly over half the full scene. Plus lots of people around here are stepping their game up big time, be good to give 'em (and you!) some perspective.
