More or less how I've heard it. She's basically FB's original creation, so they can do whatever they want with her.

I like their version of Sion but it's so weird with the different seiyu and that special attack that takes years to attack her opponent.
Sometimes I like to hang out with people who aren't that bright. You know, just to see how the other half lives.

From what I know, they're throwing out patch 1.01 to nerf into the ground fix Chain Shifting this Thursday.

lol one of my first thoughts after I started watching videos last week was "oh no! these look like skullgirls combos!"
I'm mostly fine with combo damage right now (though that will probably change as more powerful stuff comes to light), I'd just like them to be slightly more concise

anyway I'm not super-thrilled with everything I'm seeing but I don't think this game looks nearly as terrible as everyone is making it out to be,  some things look super-fun actually

and what's the big problem with chain-shifting? I've watched a good number of videos and I'm not sure what is so broken about it

I think it's the amount of meter they gain back. You get quite a bit if you have a decent amount of grd.

Everyone's sort of Yun / Genei-Jin at this point. Each combo is long enough that it builds the meter to get the cancel to continue the combo to build just close enough that you need to him them again and start all over.

Basically right now it's:

Combos!

+ Easy to do.
+ Fun.
+ Almost ends with potential for oki.

- Takes a chunk of time to do.
- Doesn't really do all that much damage.
- Builds enough meter to get a cancel to prolong the combo further.

They could make the combos build less meter, do more damage, or only allow you to cancel once a match something.

I honestly have no problem with it :P

There's also the problem with Chain Shifting in that some characters, *cough*Linne*cough*, can keep the combo going long enough that they can get off multiple Chain Shifts per combo. Combine that with a lack of hitstun deterioration and you get people figuring out infinite loops to burn 80 seconds off the clock.

no, combine it with unlimited otg relaunch. If she have done one after every dive, she have used 11 otg relaunchs in this 80s combo.

Well, from what I can tell, hitstun deterioration and OTG limit (2 relaunches usually) seems to be reset with each Chain Shift. Maybe that's what they are fixing?

No, it's not reseted. This game don't have otg relaunch limit. See merkava doing it 5 times in a row without chain shift.

I like how her bio mentions that she looks like someone that survived being in a certain town that was under the evil influence of a vampire that was called "personification of rumors" and because of that various rumors have been going around.

Also her 'specs' match TM Sion's to the letter.

I really like her new design, looks like an improvement to her MB design(to me anyway). .

Also why are soo many of the female cast wearing high heels, the only character I think it makes sense on is Hilda.
