F-Wara Discussion
« on: September 03, 2010, 12:43:59 AM »
I wanted to make a guide video, but I have no time. For now I'll put up interesting stuff I know.

The most damage BnB I could find was:

5b(3)5c6c sj jb 7 jc 421c

The 7 (jumping back) is to get as many hits off j421c as possible for max damage. Can't remember the damage off the top of my head and can't really test now.

And 236c although has absolutely no hitstun and super little damage, it destroys HALF your entire guard bar and MORE THAN HALF if you crouch block.

Interested?

Last combo shows a guardbreak setup. Costs 200% though. Still, hype.

A guardbreak setup where the opponent's Crescent Moon guard bar starts at 75% AFTER a combo.  That's almost never going to happen in a real game and if they ex guard tornado at all the setup won't result in guard break.   :emo:

well at least there is a use for that black fog which prevent the recover from the opponent :S

Still 22a 236ex is enough to take down half Guard bar the other half can be taken down the same way or due blockstrings, a good way i´ve seeing doing this is after a throw 236ex,22a,236ex still i havent test this myself is just a theory :P but enough to take almost all or most of the G-bar

Won't work.  The other person can get hit on purpose first first 236ex and then punish you because the move has no histun.

true.

mmh im still trying to figure out how to use it in a blockstring still F-Wara dash is kind of... weird to use, good for everything else but kind of a failure for a blockstring :S. Of course there are people how may have found a way to use it still havent appear in any vid lately or i havent look well

I question the exact effects of the fog. It seems to increase hitstun since those 2[c] combos seem to work easier with a fog. Anyone can confirm?

Moving this from the thread i made.

Hey guys, first time posting here. Anyways i just discovered recently that f-warachia can juggle his opponents with his 5b. You know, the one that turns his cape into a spiral? it works best in a corner though it can work mid-screen but it will be shorter. Just do 6c then 5b a couple of times. it is possible to go into an air combo with this new strategy.

Hope you guys enjoy this new info.  Grin

You're saying it's impossible for the opponent to tech out when he/she's in the fog? You can't ground tech either?

i was wondering why many combos ended whit that fog as a set up then again i may be wrong since i only prevent air teching and i tested this 2 weeks ago so i´ll try it again if it prevent ground techs as well after a short otg

I just tested it myself. Ground tech is still possible. It apparently removes your ability to air tech. So that's why 2[c] combos are easier to do with the fog.

yeah it seems so making the 2c2b loop (well 3 o 4 times max) easier to make after 5b.

Even so, the properties of the fog don't seem very consistent. I tried pushing the opponent to the corner and throwing him, then unleashing an EX fog. When I did a 5b after he wakes up, sometimes he air techs, sometimes he lands on the ground and ground techs, sometimes he doesn't air tech immediately but air techs when he's slightly lower in the air. Almost as if there's a certain period when the fog will have a no-airtech property and if the opponent's in the air out of that period of time, he can airtech.
