Main things to note are H-Kohaku’s damage potential, especially from command throws, and her ridiculous EX Golfswing, which is one of the best reversal supers in the game. Leo also has an incredible sense of spacing with Warc, and a very creative and unique playstyle as well.

Nakau gets off to a rough start, dropping most of his combos but eventually he gets them down and it’s smooth sailing from there. C-Kohaku is notable in how much of an improvement she is over MBAC Kohaku. MBAC Kohaku was known for having very strong mixup with the assistance of plants, but her damage output was among the lowest in the game. C-Kohaku gets huge damage with the new sword loop she has, and still gets to run the strong plant mixup.

Here’s a quick look at one of the videos.  It shows off Ryougi and S.Akiha in their Full Moon forms.  It also features Ryougi’s stage, based on the forest ouside of the Ryougi mansion (and also featuring the hype music from the movies as its BGM!).

Seifuku Akiha managed to catch everyone here by surprise.  At Type-Moon’s original announcement of her, I thought it was just going to be an extra outfit.  Turns out we have yet another addition to the already sizable cast!  She plays quite differently from the other two Akihas in the cast, fighting primarily with a slew of kicks and new origami attacks.  Those air origami rings look pretty scary, from the two videos that show them off.

Ryougi Shiki, from Tsukihime’s sister series – Kara no Kyoukai, is a character with many similarities to Shiki Tohno.  She comes from a demon hunting clan and possesses the highest level of Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.  Thankfully though, she appears to be far from just a Shiki or Nanaya clone in her MBAA incarnation.  She already is displaying some sizable ranged normals and some specials that seem pressure focused.  I can’t wait to see more!

For some background information, SAT was one of the best Nero players in MBAC, and is still a top Nero player in AA.  Kaimaato was undisputedly the best Kouma in MBAC, and is probably still the best Kouma in AA.  He’s particularly well known for being able to make ridiculous reads and is just amazing at drawing counterhits.
